For almost a million years, humanity always found a way to overcome the toughest situations and conditions. Because of our primal instincts and our ability to learn, we are where we are today. I always like to think about how far we came only to one day fall off completely because even if humanity dominates the world, nature can easily kill humanity off anytime and any day without warning. Before my dad died, he told me to live your life to the fullest and to make the most out of my youth days because any day we could die. I currently live with my mom and sister in a 2 bedroom apartment because we moved into Tokyo a year ago so we aren't so used to the city life.

My name is Gon Akano and I'm currently 17 years old while I go to Shisui Academy. Ever since I moved to Tokyo, I stopped trying to make friends with people and just try to get the best grades that I can get so I could attend the perfect colleges. However I did make one friend and he was about to change my high school life and even possibly my life as a whole. His name is Sora Nazuko and I started to be friends with him since last year and he wanted to make me popular. As for a romantic life, there are tons of cute girls in my school but I don't bother having a relationship in my age since it will affect my studies. I couldn't careless for a girl anyway since they ask way too much for me to do and girls are already hard to read.

This year I joined a club named "The Studies Club" and it was suppose to help me with homework but instead its just a place where I hang out with Sora and two other girls. The first girl is Sakura Kumimaru and she's known for being born into a rich family but I do admire her blond hair and sense of anime. The other girl is Yui Megumi, a cute, black haired girl who has a bright and calm personality which I can at least admire since the other two are always arguing about stupid stuff.

Today, the president of the club has to make a progress report about their clubs to prove that they're actually doing what their club stands for until I woke up to my sister saying "brother come quickly downstairs" and from that moment on, my high school life officially changed.
