She looked up to me with wide eyes as I said that, -that helped a little..- she continued, -I just need a motherly hug..- she sighed and without a further action I pulled her into my arms and squeezed her into me.
I looked up to the door and saw German spying on us so I'm guessing he heard everything I said which made me blush lightly and she smiled playfully at me, -look what you gone and made me do..he heard everything...-I whispered in Daisy's ear and she looked behind her and laughed happily and looked back to me and still laughing.
German came to join us in the settee and looked at Daisy, -and don't go planning falling in love soon young lady!...- he said with his eyebrows raised and I laughed, -I agree..- I said and Daisy turned to me and looked at me with her eyebrows raised just like Germans, -shh you, mrs dandelion in my meadows...- she said
I laughed and blushed the same time, German was laughing to, -she sure gets her Witt from her mother- he said which made me smile as I look down to her, a knock on the door interrupted us and Daisy jumped up and went to get it.
She opened the door and there was a little boy the same age as Daisy, -Jake?..- she said confused but happy, -I-I..umm wanted to know if you wanted to come out to play?..- the little boy asked sweetly and it melted my heart Daisy turned her head to me and German and I nodded, -but not far only in this street and come back in an hour..- I said and she nodded excited and left.
