After an hour Daisy come skipping happily in and humming a tune she smiled at both me and German and then skipped up stairs into her room, German looked at me suspiciously, -she likes him don't she..- he said and I laughed, -German come on, she's 7 and even if she did, I was a girl once and I remember being 7, you like different boys every day and If you break up with them you don't feel anything..- I said which made him relax and I smiled and kissed him, -you relax you overprotective dad and I'll go and talk to our little girl..- I said and he smiled and nodded while I walked upstairs into Daisy's room, she was writing in her diary and smiled and closed the diary as I sat down on her bed.
-so how's jake?..- I said and looked at her, she blushed and fiddled with her bed cover, -he's okay I guess..- she said nervously which made me smile, -oh come here..- I said and pulled her into a tight hug squeezing and swaying her back and forth.
-you got your first crush..- I said and she pulled away blushing deep red, -no..no I haven't!..- she insisted but I raised my eyebrows and she sighed and nodded embarrassed, then crawled under her covers and pulled the blanket over her.
I chuckled and stoked her head, -my baby girl is growing up so fast..- I said and kissed her head and she smiled and grabbed my hand, -don't tell anyone about this...- she pleaded and I smiled and nodded, -our little secret..- I whispered before kissing her head and closing her bedroom door.
