BLAKE'S P.O.V

I wait for Sky along with everyone else in our family. Then I see Sky walk toward the car, his head is down but I can see him smiling. "WWhat makes you so late Sky?" I ask the second he gets in the car. He shrugs and then his phone beeps. Sky looks at the screen and smiles.

"So how was your first day of school boys?" Paula asks as Matthew starts the car. "That's wonderful darling. Did you make any new friends?" "Yes, five of them." "That's great. And you Skylar?" Sky puts one finger up. "Oh, whats his name?" Sky shakes his head. "Her?" Sky nods and smiles. "Woo, Sky," Chris reaches from the backseat to high five him. "What's her name?" I ask. Sky's phone beeps again and he blushes. He outa one finger up to tell me to wait. "Her name?" I ask after he's done replying to a text. "You'll meet het later, soon I promise."

When we get home Sky runs upstairs to his room. I follow and knock on his door. "Sky, may I come in?" I hear him get up from his bed and walk to the door. He opens the door, his phone in hand. I look at the screen and see who he's been texting, but he turns the screen off. "What do you want?" Sky, writes on a piece of paper. "I just wanted to know if you wanted to work on the chemistry project together, if you got it." "How do you know I got the project?" Great. Just great. Now I have to lie, to Sky since I don't have the project yet. I'll have to do my best lying. "My teacher said that your chemistry teacher handed one out, so we should ask someone in that class, if we can pair up." Sky looks at me like he doesn't believe me. I give him my innocent face. Sky shrugs and let's me in.

I sit on Chris's computer char and tap my fingers on my thighs. Sky opens his backpack, pulls out his folder and hands me the paper outline. I look over the paper to see where the partner assigned to Sky is. On the top right corner all it says is K:). I wonder who K:) is, K must be a girl because no guy would put a smiley face.

I look up at Sky and smile. "Whose K?" Sky shrugs but I notice his cheeks turn a faint pink. I can't help but smile, "does my little brother have a crush?" Sky snatches the paper from me and shakes his head. "Sky, really. You sure you don't have a crush?" I say smiling. Sky points for me to get out, I walk to the door, but before I leave I turn back to Sky. "My baby brother has a crush, how cute." Sky throws a pillow at me, but luckily I dodge it.

As I walk down the hall Paula and Matthew call me. "Blake, can you come here please." I walk into the kitchen and sit at the table. "Am I in trouble?" "Oh no sweetheart, not at all. Matthew and I were just wondering if you know who the girl, that Skylar is friends with." "No. I don't know who she is." "Don't you and Skylsr have all the same classes?" Matthew asks drinking some of his water. "Yes, but not chem.."

Ryan, Alex, and Chris all come running into the kitchen. "Mom, dad, hurry its Skylar!" They all yell. "What wrong?" Matthew asks getting up, Paula following right behind him. "Sky, is lying on the floor, in our room. He's in a ball unconscious, there's blood." Chris says crying and sniffling. We all rush upstairs to Sky and Chris's room. I see Sky, he's lying still on the floor, there's blood all around him. The blood is coming from his right leg. We all rush over to him, I push through everyone and pick Sky up, and place him on his bed. I place him on his back, he's pale white, and his eyes are closed.

"Call 911, now Ryan!" Matthew yells. Ryan runs downstairs followed by Alex and Chris. "Skylar, Skylar! Wake up please, please. Please Sky, wake up!" I cry, shaking him. "Blake, Blake, don't. You shouldn't shake him." Matthew says trying to calm Paula and I down. Five minutes later the ambulance comes and takes Sky. The paramedics let me ride in the back with Sky. Matthew and everyone else follows up to the hospital.
