Fine be mad at me

Sky winces as Paula places an ice pack on his left eye. Sky's eye has completely turned black and purple and swollen to were he can't open it at all.

"I'm sorry Skylar, but I don't want it to get swollen anymore then it already is." Paula removes the ice pack, Sky tries to open his eye but it won't open. "I'm going to go and call Matthew, so he knows what happened. Also we will all talk about what happened." Paula says leaving Sky's room, I sit on Sky's bed.

"I'm so sorry, Sky. The moment I saw Sara, I should have called you to me." I sigh, and look at Sky. "I will make sure Brandon pays ." Sky shakes his head. "Stop trying to always protect me." "Sky..." he cuts me off. "I can stand up for myself." "But..."

"Skylar, Kylie's is here to see you." Paula calls from downstairs. Sky gets up and quickly runs out of his room. I follow Sky, Kylie is examining his eye and whispers something in his ear.

"Hi Blake," Kylie smiles and waved at me. "Hey Kylie." I say walking back upstairs to my room, slamming the door shut, throwing myself into my bed.

I hope I didn't seem rude, but I'm actually jealous of Sky. He has someone who likes him, and I don't. Usually I'm the one with a girlfriend, I know I shouldn't be jealous, Sky's never had a girlfriend. I am broken from my thought, when Sky walks into my room.

"Why were you so mean to Kylie?" "I didn't mean to be. Why does Kylie think I hate her or something?" "Yea." "Well I don't." "Then why did you slam your door!0?" "Nothing Sky, now go. I have homework to do."

Sky looks at me clearly hurt. He nods and walks out of my room. I can hear Kylie talking to Sky, almost as if he's a baby. "Don't worry, he's probably just a little upset that Brandon hit you. Why don't you go downstairs while I get you another ice pack and some water."

Sky must have nodded his head because I hear them walking downstairs. I decide to sleep until Ryan and Alex wake me up by hitting me with pillows.

"Get up, it's time for dinner," they say hitting me repeatedly with pillows. "Ok, okay. Let me get up. You two are way worse than Sky, when he went to a Sleeping with Sirens concert." I say rubbing the sleep from my eyes.
"What are we having for dinner?" "Mom made salad, steak, and mash potatoes," Alex says licking his lips. "That sounds really good," I say getting up, and following them downstairs. I take my seat by Alex and take a drink of my Pepsi. I look across the table and I don't see Sky.

"Where's Sky?" "Skylar, went to the library, with Kylie to work on their project." Paula says sitting down. "When did they leave?" "About an hour ago, I'm going to pick Skylar up in half an hour." "Can I go with you?" "Sure, what about the rest of you boys?" "Nah Alex and I have homework to do." Ryan says taking a sip of his soda. "I wanna go, can I?" Chris says with a smile. After dinner Chris and I get into the car while Paula says bye to everyone.

"Hey Blake." "Yea?" "Why does Sky have a black eye?" "Paula and Matthew didn't tell you?" "No. I asked Sky but he wouldn't tell me." "Basically, I wasn't there for him, like a good big brother."

I say looking down at the carpet mat. Just then Paula opened the car door and starts the car. The ride to the library is short and quiet.
"Come on boys, let's go." We walk up to the main library entrance door, we get inside and immediately I notice that it's freezing cold.
"Excuse me. I'm looking for my son Skylar." Paula says to the librarian who looks like she's in her early fifties. "Can you describe him for me please." "He look just like my other son," Paula says pointing to me. "He has jet black hair just like him, but emo style. Hazel eyes and he's wearing a Sleeping with Sirens jacket." "Was he with a girl that was wearing a green and black hair bow?" "Yes." They went to the computer room, it's in the very back." "Thank you, very much." "No problem."
We walk to the computer room, I see Sky and Kylie sitting in the very back of the room, looking at whatever it is that they need for their project. She's wearing his jacket, Sky never lets anyone wear his Sleeping with Sirens jacket, he won't even let me wear it. As we get closer I notice Sky has his arm around her waist.
"Skylar." Paula says. Sky jumps and looks at us. Sky looks back to Kylie and moves his arm away from his waist. "Hi, Mrs. Ramos." "Hi Kylie. Are you and Skylar done with your project?" "We are almost done, just another three days." "Okay. Do you need a ride home?" "Thank you, but my dad will be here in ten minutes." "Alright bye Kylie, see you soon." "Bye." Sky and Kylie hug before we leave.
We walk toward the exit. I walk over to Sky but he walks ahead of me, over to Chris. Is Sky really that mad at me still? Is it about the whole Kylie thing, if it is than that's a stupid reason to ignore me.
"Skylar, so are you going to Kylie's house to finish the rest of the project?" Paula asks as we near the car. Sky nods, and climbs into the car I the back seat where Chris is sitting. The ride home is completely silent. When we get home, I tug on Sky's shirt to get his attention.
"Hey are you mad at me?" Sky just walks away on me, into the house. I walk into the house, after Chris walks in, Sky is already walking upstairs to his room. I walk to his room and knock a few times before I hear him walking to ward the door. Sky opens the door, he has an attitude face on.
"Can we talk?" Sky shakes his head. "Why are you mad at me?" "Go away, I'm tired." "Sky, talk to me." "No!" "We need to talk." Sky slams the door in my face. Maybe I should talk to him tomorrow morning.
"Blake, mom and dad said it's time for bed." "Okay, is Alex already in our room?" "Yea he went to your guts room a minutes ago," he says yawning and walking into his room.
I make my way to my room and change into some clothes, some shirts, and an old shirt. I get into bed when Alex calls me.
"Blake, why is Skylar mad at you, what did you do?" "Nothing bad, but I'm pretty sure it has to do with what happened earlier with Kylie." "His girlfriend?" "He already asked her out?" I ask completely shocked. "I don't know, but they sure do act like it." "I don't know, but I'm going to talk to him in the morning."
