You had no right!

I am awoken by the sound of hangers being moves. I push the blankets off and look at Sky's bed. Sky moves from his bed to his closet.

He grabs at the hem of his shirt then stops. he slowly turns back to look at me. I close my eyes so he thinks I'm asleep. I open my eyes again and he's pulling down another shirt.

I see at the very bottom of his back a long discoloured piece of skin. I get out if Chris's bed and walk to Sky. I tap on his shoulder. Sky jumps, his eyes turn wide with shock. I have obviously startled him.

"Sky, what happened to your back?" Sky's eyes open wider with pure fright. "What happened?" Sky shrugs his shoulders and turns to get his backpack. I grab his arm and turn him around.

"Let me see your back." Sky shakes his head. "Sky, let me see." Sky shakes my hand off his arm and grabs his phone. "Skylar James Quinn, let me see, right now!"

"Boys, what's with all of the yelling?" Matthew asks walking into the room. "Nothing, Sky and I are just getting ready for school." "Then why were you you yelling at your brother?" "I just wanted to copy his geometry homework, and he won't let me," I lie. "No coping homework Blake. Now get ready and be downstairs in ten for breakfast." I nod. "Skylar, since your ready, why don't you come down and eat."

I get ready for school and head downstairs for breakfast. I take a seat between Alex and Ryan. I pour myself some cereal. "No, Ryan. That game is not for boys your age level." "But mom," both Ryan and Alex whine. "Boys, your mom said no. And I agree, maybe when you boys are older, maybe sixteen."

Alex and Ryan continue arguing with Paul and Matthew. I am notice Sky is showing Chris something cool on his phone by the Chris's shocked expression.

"Time for school get in the car boys.@ Paula says getting up. I grab my backpack and follow everyone into the car. The whole ride to school Sky won't look at me, he wont even acknowledge me in anyway.

About a block away from school skies phone rings. He opens his FaceTime call it's Kylie. Sky puts his earbuds in and except the call. Kylie says something that makes Sky laugh, then he nods and puts his thumb up and waves bye to her.
We get out of the car grab our lunch money and wave bye to Paula and our brothers. We walk onto campus and head straight to the quad. I see my friends by the B building I tug on Sky for him to follow me.

"Hey Blake." Billy says. "Skylar, your back, how are you?" David asks smiling. Sky smiles back and give David a thumbs up I can tell that Sky placed a fake smile.

My friends and I talk about the newest episode of American dad. I noticed Sky sits on the steps and has his knees to his chest after five minutes I see Sky's face brighten up. I look in the direction he's looking and see Kylie.

"Skylar you're back I missed you!" Kylie says hugging Sky. I noticed her face falls and she has worried eyes as she pulls away from Sky.

"Skylar? Why can I feel your ribs?" That catches all of my friends attention. We all look at sky waiting for his answer. Sky looks from Kylie to me and back to Kylie. Sky grab Kylie's hand and we all watch as they down the hall to the fountain.

"Blake, are you sure Skylar is alright?" Vinny asks raising his eyebrows. "Im gonna talk to him at break, okay, guys I'll see you later."

Just as I walk down the hall the bell rings. Sky walks away with Kylie into the C building even though we have history first I decide to walk to class alone.

The one minute the rings just as Sky opens the door and take his seat next to me and pulls out his binder."

"Sky, at break you and I are going to talk.""Why?" "Because I said so." "And?" "Look we're going to talk at break, got it." Sky nods.

Our next two classes go by fast, I noticed Sky tries to run out of geometry I rush down the hall to him.

"Hey stop." Sky points to the fountain, Kylie is waiting, obviously for him. "Look what Kylie said this morning about your ribs don't think I didn't notice."

Sky looks down at the floor and shrugs his shoulders. "Why aren't you eating a lot?" I see a slight tear ran down Sky's cheek. "Im fat," Sky types looking away from me, wiping a tear away from his eye.

"Skylar you're not fat. Ehy do you think you're fat? Did someone call you fat?" "No one called me fat, I just am, can I go now? Kylie is waiting for me." "Only if you promise me when we get home you will eat." "No." "Skyler Jams I'm you older brother." "By two minutes." "Look it's my job to protect you even if it's from yourself." "Fine." "Ok, go. see you next period." "Thanks Bay."

Sky turns and walks to the fountain. Kylie walks up to Sky and smiles at him, Sky smiles back. I haven't seen Sky smile so happily in ten years. My thoughts are broken by my friends walking to me.

"So are you and Skylar done talking?" Vinny asks. "Yea." I turn to the rest my friends they are all looking where Sky and Kylie are.

Kylie is having sky something as Sarah and her friend approach them. Kylie's face falls, she leans into Sky's side. Sky pulls her into his side more and strokes his hair.

"Do you think Skylar needs help with those two?" Steven asks sounding worried. "I think so, but I think he might be able to handle them."

Sky seems to be handling Sara and her friend, then two guys approach them. Sara tells them something the one with black gives Sky the death glare. Before I know it, Sky is on the floor, cupping his left eye.

I run on the hall as fast as I can. I bend down and the Sky's head. Sky tries to open his eyes but the left one won't open.
"Kylie, take Skylar to the nurses office."  "Okay," she says helping Sky up, then walking down the hall to the nurses office. I turn to the guy who hit Sky and realize its Brandon Hayes, the schools bully.

"Why did you punch my brother?!" "Because my beautiful girlfriend told me to, he ignored her when she was talking to her." "You had no right to hit him!" "He's a loser, I'm a somebody. I can do whatever I want." "You little..." I am interrupted by the schools intercom.

"Would Blake Quinn please report to the main office. Blake Quinn to the main office."
