Chapter 10

I woke up to a loud banging on my door, I groaned. I got up and walked to the door after putting on fresh clothes. I opened the door and saw bb standing there, a cheesy smirk on his face. "Merry Christmas Rae!!" He said. "You too" I said trying to sound happier than normal. "well come on! the others are waiting for you! we're getting ready for our christmas party!" he said and dashed through the hallways, I went back in my room, and took about a 5 minute shower I put on a white cloak and walked out of my room. I saw all the other titans sitting in the living room all getting things together, starfire was cooking human food for once, bb was trying to hang up the stockings, cyborg was outside working on the lights, and robin of all people was putting up the christams tree decorations. I walked over to robin, who was the only one who looked like he needed help. He smiled when he saw me aprouch him. "hey rae, glad your finally up!" he said cheerfully while putting a silver ordament on the tree, "hey, need some help?" I asked. Robin smiled and nodded "yeah, I do have a lot of ordaments" he said.

I smiled at the finished tree, it looked so beautiful right now. it has red,blue,green,silver, and golden ordaments with strands of red running across it's sides. I know I sound like a girly girl when I'm not. Robin saw me staring at the tree and smirked "I knew you would like it!" he said. I blushed and smiled at him. once everyone was done is was time for titans east to arrive, bumble bee hugged me and told me about how obnoxius speedy and aqua lad have been being. "oh come on b! we're not that bad!" claimed speedy. "oh really, considering you deicided it would be 'funny' to try and invade my bedroom?!" bumble bee complained. robin stepped in between them "calm down you guys, let's not ruin our christmas for everybody" he said while looking back and forth at both of them. "fine!" they both said in unison. bumble bee continued to talk to me while speedy and robin talked some. aqua lad came and talked to me about some stuff. after he got side tracked and started talking to bb I sat down on the couch and started to read my book I got recently. I felt the couch dip next to me but I payed no attention, "what'ca reading?" the person asked. I knew immediantly who it was. robin. I put my book down and looked at him. "the fault in our stars" I said with a small smile. "oh, that's cool" he replied and returned my smile.

After about 2 hours of talking it was around 6:30, time to open up presents. we all sat on the gianr couch that we have, I sat in between robin and cyborg, bb sat in between starfire and cyborg, robin sat inbetween me and speedy, cyborg sat in between me and bb, speedy sat inbetween robin and bumble bee, bumble bee sat in between speedy and aqua lad. "hey, has anyone seen the other two?" I asked "oh, they got invited to another party and they couldn't make it sadly" said speedy. "oh, okay" I replied and turned to robin, "ready?" I asked "ready!" he repiled and smiled.

once everyone was finished exchanging presents, I went over to robin and smiled then hugged him for the awesome new CD from evanescence I got from him. He hugged me back and smiled at me happily. "I actually have one more thing for you" he said as we pulled away from each other, "what?" I asked curiously. "well, it's not exactly the best but...I thought you would like it" he said and pulled out a little black box, inside was a beautiful necklace with a raven on it, the chain was golden with diamonds on it. "oh my god! it's perfect! thank you so much!!" I squealed at him and kissed him on the cheek. "glad you like it" he replied and blushed a light shade of pink.

at about 8:45 titans east left for the night, I walked down the hallway to my room, I was just about to type in the code to get in when robin stopped me. "why go to bed so early?" he asked, a smirk upon his face. "because I'm tired boy wonder" I started to get annoyed with robin when he smiled at me. "mind if I stay with you tonight? bb's playing on my personal ps3 tonight" he asked me. "s-sure,come on" I said and quickly typed in the code. I went inside and robin followed me. I lay in my bed as he carefully wrapped an arm around my waist and another buired in my hair. I fell asleep after about 5 minutes.
