"What happened?!"

"..."

"You're hurt!"

"..."

"Hanako-kun!"

~~~~~~~
Yashiro fluttered her eyes open, holding her head. She groaned quietly as she slowly stood up.
She temporarily forgot about how she even got ended up in the school infirmary, but didn't really think much of it and laid back down.
She was about to shut her eyes again but she met eyes with a particular dark-haired boy staring intently at her.
She squeaked and hid under the covers, all of the previous events flooding to her head, making her want to hide even more.
Amane could only chuckle, "Morning, Princess~." He cooed gently.
Yashiro's cheeks heated up and she slumped further into the bed sheets, hiding her shameful blush, not saying a word.
"Awe, now don't be like that. You still have to give me an answer, remember?" Amane patted her head, unable to resist. She was just utterly precious.
Yashiro shook her head furiously, still refusing to talk.
"Oh, I brought your bag here. Class ended a little while ago." Amane said, yet Yashiro could only internally scream.
Yashiro thought he couldn't get any more charming, he even brought her bag! Seriously, is this guy a prince in disguise?
Nodding, Yashiro mumbled a faint, "Thank you."
The corner of Amane's lips almost curled to a smile as she spoke, but he stopped himself, not knowing fully why.
She was so firm on keeping quiet, but that gave him the motivation to keep the conversation going because it made it all the more endearing.
"Do you think you can answer me today?" Amane asked.
Yashiro just shook her head, moving a bit away from him.
Her crush was asking her out for goodness' sake! Why was she shaking her head? Why was she inching away from him?
The strangest thing to her out of all that was, why didn't she said yes already?
"Oh, then at least let me escort you home." He offered, flashing his usual grin.
A grin that suddenly angered her.
'There's no point in speaking. There's no point in speaking.' She chanted, trying to ease her rage.
But it made her want to disobey her silent rule even more.
"Why are you doing this, Yugi-kun?" Yashiro asked with a clear voice, careful not to use his first name in front of him. They're barely even friends. And if a Nobody like her speaks his name, it would be revolting, at least in her view that is.
He seemed to be lost in thought for a mere moment, gazing at the floor below him as if it were mesmerizing. He regained himself a few seconds later, though he still seemed off.
"Why not? You said you like me, right?" Amane answered innocently. "And I guess I kind of owe you..." He mumbled.
Yashiro suddenly felt angered, balling her fists. Her crush was offering to be her boyfriend, why was she silently declining it? Was she that picky?
Why did it anger her so much?
'He's only doing it out of obligation. That's why.' She answered to herself.
