Chapter 8

A/N sorry this is up a bit late, I was busy yesterday.

In the morning, I woke up to an empty bed. Sky probably went downstairs. I checked the time on my phone, 10:15.

I got up out of bed and went downstairs to the kitchen and saw Sky. "Your mom went to the grocery store. You're running low on food." "Okay." I made myself some tea and sat down on the couch in the living room.

Sky sat down and asked, "So, what happened last night?" "After he picked me up...," I told him what had happened between the time that we left the house and the time that we came back.

"Aww, that is so sweet! I remember hanging out on the roof almost every day, those were the days." I turned a light shade of pink from embarrassment. "So what do you want to do today?" "Hm... Oh! Let's go to the mall!" "Okay, fine."

I got up and put the mug that was now tea-less in the sink then went upstairs to get dressed.

When I got into my room, I went over to my closet and picked out a grey shirt that has the 5sos logo on it with the words 'Five Seconds Of Summer' underneath, ripped skinny jeans that are black, black and white vans, a black beanie, and a small, black cross-body bag.

I put it on my bed and took off my pjs. I left my pjs on my bed and walked into my bathroom, which was connected to my room.

I got into the shower and immediately started singing "18" by One Direction.

"And I wanna love like you make me feel..."

"WHEN WE WERE 18!" Shit I forgot to lock the door!

"What's up Maya?!" "Sky! Get out I'm taking a shower!" I screamed angrily at him. "Fine then, don't appreciate my presence!" He said dramatically and then he walked out sassily.

I quickly finished my shower and walked into my room where Sky was lounging on my bed, phone in hand. "Whatcha doing?" "Nothing" "it doesn't seem like nothing, you're red as a tomato!" He wasn't blushing but after I told him that he was, he started blushing. I grabbed my clothes and walked back into my bathroom to get dressed.

When I walked out, I asked Sky, "So, who are you texting?" "Sydney" "you sure?" He got up and walked away. "Aww! C'mon! You didn't answer my question!"

I walked downstairs and grabbed an apple to eat. After about fifteen minutes, Sky came downstairs wearing a gray nasa shirt, black skinny jeans, black vans and a beanie.

"Let's go!" He said happily. I grabbed my phone and some money and put them in my bag while Sky grabbed his phone and wallet.

We started walking towards Sky's house so he could ask to borrow one of his parents' car.

"I'm home!" We called out at the same time. We walked into the kitchen and saw his mom washing the dishes.

"Hey mom, can I borrow your car so Maya and I can go to the mall?" Sky asks. "Okay, as long as you don't get a scratch on it!" She said sternly.

"Yay, thanks mom!" He exclaimed happily while skipping yo the garage.

"Thanks aunt Cass!" I gave her a quick hug then went after Sky. I got into the passenger seat of Cassidy's BMW, Sky in the drivers seat. As soon as I closed the door, we were off.

"Okay so I'm thinking we should go to the good stores and then eat lunch and continue shopping after..."

We were at the mall for a few hours because Sky kept insisting we go into each store twice just to make sure we didn't miss anything.

Sky dropped me off at home and then drove back to his own house. I checked my phone for the time, it read 6:30.

I was too exhausted from shopping to cook anything so I texted my mom.

Me: hey mom, can you pick up some food on your way home?

Mom❤️: okay, as soon as I finish my errands I'll pick something up for us.

Me: ok, see you later

On Monday morning, I walked to my locker with Sky and Sydney. Leor was sick so he wasn't here today.

"Hey Maya? Remember that guy I told you about?" "Yeah, why?" I asked as we stopped at our lockers. "Ooh, Sky has a crush! Jk, I can already tell you do!" Sydney laughed. Sky blushed then smacked Sydney on the back of the head.

"Anyways, I'm going to introduce you to him today. Maybe I'll invite him to sit at our table for lunch or something," Sky shrugged.

"Ooh yay!!! I finally get to meet him!" I cheered.

At lunch, I went over to our usual table and saw Sydney sitting down so I decided to try and scare him. I slowly walked closer to him then I put my hands on his shoulders while screaming "boo!" at the same time.

Sydney turns around and says "Hi Maya," "Aww! Dang it, I was trying to scare you! Why weren't you scared?" "I don't scare easily like Sky."

I sat down and saw Sky approaching with a person that looked familiar to me, I can't remember where from though.

"Hey guys I want to introduce you to my friend Steven. He just moved here from Australia. Steven, this is my twin brother Sydney and my cousin Maya," Sky introduced.

"Nice to meet you." "You too," Sydney and I said simultaneously.

"Do you want to hang out with us after school so we can get to know each other better?"

"Sure."

A/N yeah, I don't know how to end a chapter as you can probably tell😂

This was just a filler chapter, as you can probably tell already.

Maya's outfit is on the side. Sky's outfit is just something that I remember Calum Hood wearing, it was so cute!
