Okay so I'm back with another chapter (I'm skipping online classes for this 👊😔). This one was a bit harder to write, so I'm sorry it's so short- hope you enjoy!

     Steven decided he needed some time alone. Not too much time, as he wanted to hang out with Y/N, just some thinking time. He drove out to a pretty empty place. No one was around. He parked there, getting a perfect view of the sunset. What was he going to do without Connie? She meant so much to Steven, and she just left?
     He missed her pretty brown hair. How her eyes sparkled. Her smile. Their adventures. There might be a chance they could get back together though? Steven smiled at the thought, but then realised it was unlikely.
     Then Steven started to ask different questions. Did he like Y/N? Maybe just as friends. They did just meet, and they shouldn't rush into things. As the moon rose, the air got colder. It sure would be nice to be holding somebody right now. Steven sighed. He stared at the moon. I'm going back now.
     Steven drove back to Y/N's home. He happily welcomed Steven back home.
     "Uhm, Y/N?" Steven nervously asked.
     "Yeah? What's up Steven?"
     Steven then walked over to Y/N, giving him a soft kiss, to which he returned. They both pulled away, stars in their eyes. They both liked each other, and something was happening. They decided to snuggle up on the couch and watch a movie. As the end of it neared, they both drifted asleep in each other's arms.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
     Y/N woke up first. It was 10 am. His arms were wrapped around Steven, as Steven's arms around Y/N. It was actually quite comfortable. He snaked his way out of Steven's arms, and stood up. Steven's phone kept buzzing. He wanted to check it to tell the person to shut up, but he didn't want to invade Steven's privacy. Y/N quickly got ready for work and left, being late.
     Steven woke up feeling cold. He looked around for Y/N, panicking, only to realise he left for work. With that he let out a sigh and got ready for the day. Surprisingly, his mind was on Y/N instead of Connie. He thought about everything he wanted to do with Y/N.
     Steven picked up his phone, only to see he had a lot of text messages. They were from Connie. Steven opened his phone and read them.
     Steven, I talked to her! 9:49 am
     She's my girlfriend now! 9:49 am
     I think she might be the one,,, 9:50 am
     Steven? 9:50 am
     Steven are you there? Still sleeping? 9:51 am
     The messages went on until 10:01 am. Steven just smiled. Connie moved on, and he was hoping to do the same. He wasn't hurt by the idea of Connie being with someone else anymore. With that, Steven went to their room and sprawled out on his bed. He's better for me. Because of him I'm feeling okay.
     When Y/N finally got home Steven was taking a nap on his bed. Y/N found him, and poked his face.
     "Stevennnn," Y/N stretched out.
     "Ughhh, 5 more minutessss," Steven rolled over, covering his face.
     Y/N laughed, making Steven sit up and hit him with a pillow. Y/N grabbed his own, doing the same to Steven. Steven then pulled him up onto his bed, and hugged Y/N. They stayed in a hugging position for a few minutes before Steven pulled away.
     "I,,, I love you Y/N. I've been nervous on saying it, especially since I still had feelings for Connie, but I love you," Steven looked down, a big nervous.
     "I love you too Steven! You shouldn't be scared to tell me anything, I'm always willing to listen you dork!" Y/N lightly punched Steven's arm.
     Steven laughed a bit and pulled Y/N back for a quick hug.
     "Thank you."
