"I SITTING HERE, CRYING IN MY PROM DRESS. ID BE THE PROM QUEEN IS CRYING WAS A CONTEST"

Gentle music drifted through Laws earphones as she shoved books and papers into her beaten up locker. She barley payed any attention to her task, which resulted in some pretty torn up test sheets, and instead focused on the sweet yet melancholic melody. Her slim hips absentmindedly swayed. Law was pretty sure she hip bumped the person next to her but, if she did, they didn't seem to care. Her good mood couldn't really be dimmed by anything at this point.

Law slammed her locker and locked it before sprinting down the crowded hallway towards the maim entrance of the school where her friend waited. Her hands tapped out the beat on her thighs as she slowed dow to not be called out by a teacher. Her sneakers, the same white one from the day before, squeaked against the nylon floor. The girl dodged around other students as she pushed her way through the crowd, most of them still stationary as they got things from the lockers, before she finally got to the door. Hitoshi linger by open door. He wild hair stood in every direction. Law pulled her earphones out, turned off her music, and shoved her phone in the pocket of her red jacket.

"Hey" She smirked as she jogged up beside him. The boy grinned brightly at her but it didn't hide the purple bags under his eyes that matched her own. He didn't say anything, simply shoved an opened can of punch flavoured Monster Energy into her hands. She fumbled to catch it.

"Thanks?" She hummed before she took a big gulp "it's not drugged, is it"

"Of course it is!" Hitoshi scoffed "Pure black tar heroin baby!"

"Nice"

He chuckled as they left the school grounds and began to make their way towards the train station, hands stuffed in the pockets of his denim jacket. Law couldn't help but notice the nervous jump in his step.

"You good?" She hummed as she tossed the now empty drink can into the trash. It made a loud clatter that drew some stranger eyes but they had already moved on a few good steps and blended in with the crowd. They both looked quite plain the the wild quirk infested streets.

"Yeah" He chuckled "I'm just nervous. The exams are in a couple days. I've been studying like mad, I've gotten exactly 40 minutes of sleep this week, and I'm still high key unfit. I'm also so fucking stressed. Are you stressed? You don't look stressed!"

"I'm stressed to the point of being calm" Law said flatly as she hopped up the stairs and onto the train platform. Hitoshi followed right behind. The train was just pulling into the station.

"Noice" he huffed as they boarded.

"My dad insists on dropping us at the U.A gates" She admitted as she slumped in her seat, head tilting to the side lazily. She let her eyes flutter closed as she enjoyed the simple and calming rocking of the train cart. It was so different than yesterday. The sky was almost completely clear, not a cloud in sight, while it was nice and warm. But not warm enough to leave without a jacket.
