TRAFALGAR LAW WAS NOT A MORNING PERSON.Absolutely everyone and everything in her life knew this yet they still refused to let her get up at her own time and pace. No. They had to have set timetables and alarms and other torturous schemes that kept her from getting a health amount of sleep. Her insomnia was simply the cherry on top.
"This is a hate crime!" Law screeched as she burrowed herself under her white and yellow striped duvet. Bepo sat on her pillow, regal and kingly, as he purred. Her long black strands of hair tangled around her throat. The white feline continued to purr as he licked his paw while Law hissed and argued with the older woman.
Her mother, Asami, stood above her daughters bed with the ends of Laws duvet in her hands as she tried desperately to tug it off. Her own gold eyes, almost identical to Laws, were gradually slipping into a glare. Law looked almost identical to her father with sharp features, a tall stature, and a natural even tan. The only real resemblance was their eye colour. Asami huffed. The brunette was tempted to grab a glass of cold water and dump it on the girl. Though she would admit she was happy that she had to be the one to get Law up because if Eito had done it, everybody knew that he'd let her stay in bed for the whole day. He was too lenient. Even though she was 16, Eito couldn't help but coo over her as if she was a child.
"Law, it is 12:30" Asami signed as she pinched the bridge of her button nose "You need to get up, have a shower, and eat breakfast! Go outside or something"
"It's a Saturday!" The teenager sneered. She glared at her mother through a gap in the blankets as if she had committed a serious crime against her by simply going outside. Bepo yawed, still on the pillow, before he curled up into a ball.
Her mother threw her hands up into the air in exasperation "Even more reasons for you to got outside! You can't spend your weekend waiting for a response from U.A curled under your blankets. You can't waste your teenage years inside your room!"
Law didn't get to say another word before Asami, using all of her limited strength, yanked the duvet off and attempted to storm out of the bedroom only to shriek at the 6 foot cardboard cutout peaking out behind the door. Asami wrenched the closed to get a better look at it. One of Laws bomber jackets hung from its shoulders as it stood tall with its arms crossed. Asami stared at it for a moment, examining the smirks and wild two coloured hair, before she glared.
"What is this?!" She huffed and tapped the cutout on the chest as she glared over her shoulder at her smug looking daughter. The short woman had lost count of the memorabilia and strange items in her child's room that she had either bought on a whim at a convention or had spent hours searching for in an overpriced store.
"His name is Kōtarō Bokuto and he's my husband"
"Where did you even get this?" The teacher huffed but cut off her daughter who was very ready to answer "You know what, I don't want to know"
