KIKOKU TOWERED ABOVE THE CROWD.

The swords longs handle peaked out above the students that bustled into the auditorium, it's gold pummel glittering in the suns light, while its short white fur trim around the guard swayed in the breeze. Law adjusted her grip on it again. People whispered and pointed at the blade as the girl and her friend passed them but Law ignored everything and headed straight for the registration desk where a tall police officer stood straight. Hitoshi lingered behind her. The desk was right outside the double doors that lead to the auditorium. A small stack of papers rested on the corner, a coffee cup weighing them down, while a large box labeled 'Unregistered' sat beside it.

"Forms please" The officer order as she reached out a thin tan hand towards the taller girl. She looked tired but stern while her deep blue hair was pulled into a tight bun under her cap.

Law used her free hand to reach into the pocket of her red jacket before she pulled out the wrinkled and folded up piece of paper. She handed it in as she glanced back over her shoulder. Hitoshi was swaying idly on the balls of his feet, hands stuffed into the pockets of his denim jacket, before his lilac eyes met her own. He smirked and raised him middle finger at her. Law narrowed her gold eyes, her own hand ready to do the same, but a cough came from the officer to draw her attention. The woman placed her form with the others before she handed Law a tag. It had the police and U.A logo on it as well as the officer's signature. She took it.

"That tag proves to the U.A staff that your weapon is registered and that everything is in order" The police woman spoke sternly "put it on your sword and do not remove it until the exam is over. Do you understand?"

"Yeah" Law hummed as she read the small writing that was printed across the back.

"Good" The woman nodded before her stoic look fell into a warmer one as small smile flickered across her lips "good luck"

"Thanks" The raven haired teen nodded as she stepped backwards before she turned to her friend. She hit his shoulder. He huffed but simple nudged her away as she smirked at him.

"C'mon" he hummed, shuffling on his feet nervously as Law ran a hand through her messy hair. A hiss escaped her moth as her spindly fingers snagged on a knot, nails scraping if her scalp suddenly, before she yanked her hand back harshly.

The double door creaked loudly as the pair pushed it open before they slipped inside with several others and took their place at the back of the room. They didn't bother to find any seats. The pair leaned against the wall, Hitoshi crouching down as he tried to relax even for the smallest moment, and law readjusted the grip on her sword. It chinked slightly as the red tassel swayed while the gold furnishings glinted in the low light. Their were a unique, and slightly intimidating, pair. Both tall and long limbed, faces marred with obvious sleep loss, while the taller of the pair had a sharpened sword.
