"Oh you're just a beautiful little boy ! Yes you are, oh my mini sunshine!" Tricia cooed, bouncing around the room with Alfie snuggled on her chest.  Alfie seemed to be having the time of his life, happily cooing away.

"Can you quit hogging the child?" Waliyha grumbled.

"No, why would I do that?! Look at my precious nana's boy!" Tricia exclaimed.

She and Anne had decided between them that , Anne would be called Nanny and Tricia would be Nana. Whilst Yaser decided he wanted to be called Abba. It was adorable really how easy both Zayn's parents had taken to the little boy. It was like the last five months of his pregnancy had never happened and they'd been there all along.

"He's actually a daddy's boy mum, hate to break it to ya' but no one can replace Haz." Zayn chuckled.

"I'm his second favourite!" Safaa blurted happily.

"Erm no, I gave birth to him! I come before all of you!" Zayn pouted, reaching out for his baby.

Alfie immediately, turning his focus towards Zayn. At three months old the little boy was incredibly alert, it was utterly mesmerising at times for both his parents to just sit and watch. They just couldn't wrap their heads around the fact that they had created someone so perfect.

"Come here Fie' Nana's had her time with you, I missed you." He cooed , smothering his sons dark curls in kisses.

Even though he wasn't due back at sixth form for another two weeks he had been dropping Alfie off at his parents house for two hours a day, just to get used to things. The separation anxiety both he and Harry felt being away from him was awful. Harry had point blank refused to go back to sixth form the previous week, stating how it wasn't fair Zayn didn't have to.

Zayn has no idea how Anne managed to convince him to go, he was having a full on meltdown. But Harry being Harry, eventually gave up and resigned to his fate.

"Daddy will be home in an hour or so Bubz, until then it's just me I'm afraid." He spoke gently.

"Zayn, Stop that, he loves you just as much as dear Harold." Tricia warned.

"I know he does, but he's away from Harry a lot longer! I'm just pre warning Fie' he has a while left to go!" Zayn insisted.

It was true, he knew Alfie loved him, but it was also a very obvious point that Harry, was away from the baby more often than not lately. So Alfie had grown rather attached the older boy, he actually started crying that morning when Harry left for the day.

"Harry must miss him like crazy, going straight to work after sixth form and not getting in till half five. That's like what? Nine and a half hours away from him." Tricia stated.

"He does, he gets so sad when he comes home and Fie' is asleep... which lately is most of time unless we stay here for dinner." Zayn explained.

"What are you doing the son? You going back to work or?" Yaser asked.

"I'm going to do three days in sixth form rather than the usual five, yes I'm aware it'll be rough. But that way ah' can fit in workin' one day a week and spending a Friday with Alfie." The teen informed them.

"Then you and Harry both have the weekend with him ?" His mother quizzed.

He was almost one hundred percent certain he had been through this before.
"Yes mum, I'm sure I've told you both our plans before?"

"M' just double checking sunshine, don't want you missin' out on any important milestones." She responded softly.

"I get it, Me n' Hazza have both discussed the possibility... it might av' to happen sometimes mum. We have to finish sixth form and then there is university. It's goin' to be hard. I never wanted to be one of them parents that's always away from their baby." Zayn sighed.
