Scared But Protected

Yanyan's POV:

I slowly opened my eyes and it was pitch black outside.

I moved my head and looked at Joseph. He was fast asleep.

I sighed uncomfortably I was thirsty but I was trapped in his arms.

"Great now what" I whispered and listened to Joseph's heart beat for a little bit before I slipped out of his arms and landed on the floor.

I stood up and walked to the kitchen. I stepped carefully trying not to knock anything over.

I took a cup out of the cupboard and put some water into it. I sat down at the table and drank the cup of water slowly. 

I finished the cup and put the cup into the sink. I made my way back to my room and closed the door behind me.

I looked at Joseph and he was awake. "Hello" he said into the darkness.

"It's just me" I said and walked back over to the bed.

"Where did you go" he asked as I laid back down.

"Just to get a cup of water" I said and sighed happily as he ran his fingers through my hair.

"Oh okay" he said and yawned. I turned my head to look up at him.

"Seph can I ask you something" I said. He looked at me.

"Yes what do you want to ask" he said and his fingers found their way back to my hair.

"How much do you love me" I asked and looked him straight in the eyes.

He picked my chin up. "I love you to the moon and back baby" he said and leaned in to kiss me.

His lips touched mine and I kissed back even though I was an innocent bean.

His tongue ran over my lips and I jumped slightly. He pulled away.

"You okay baby" he said and held my cheek in his right hand as I leaned on it.

"Yeah I've just never kissed someone before" I said.

"Oh that's okay so I'm guessing your innocence.

"Partly yes I've never done the do but I'm really dirty" I said with a smirk on my face.

I saw Joseph's eyes shift slightly when I was smirking and something told me he had a sub space.

I got off his chest and laid beside him. I pulled him into my arms and hugged him.

I leaned down next to his ear. "Something tells me you have a sub space am I correct sweetie" I whispered in a deeper voice than normal my inner dom coming out.

"Yeah I do have a sub space but I can also dom" Joseph said a gulped.

"Yeah me too" I said as I leaned away from his ear and rested my head on top of his head.

"Yan I don't think I can fall back asleep" Joseph said and whimpered slightly.

"What's wrong sweetie" I said and looked at him.

"I'm scared" he said quietly.

"Of what I'll kill it for you" I said and tried to act tough. He laughed.

"I didn't tell you earlier but I'm afraid of the dark" he said and looked up at me.

"It's okay I think we have a night light somewhere or I could just protect you from any monsters that might try to get you in the dark" I said and flipped him over onto his side.
