Kai felt the phone vibrate, causing him to pull it out of his pocket, reading the text message he had received.

Excellent work. Tonight we head to the location and we bring her back with us. Or maybe I shall wait until I can get her alone, then I can bring her back with me. That might make it less suspicious to others around. They wouldn't suspect a man going to see his girlfriend and giving her a ride back home, Kai texted back with a huge smile upon his face.

Beverly noticed the smirk on his face and started questioning him. "What on earth has you so excited this evening?"

"My missing girl has been found. I will be getting her back tonight," Kai responded.

"How did you manage to find her so quickly? She knows about your cult," Beverly said.

"Yeah, but she also got the surprise of her life, when Jack showed up at her house to investigate a fatal accident with an innocent man, who worked in her mothers restaurant," Kai explained like it was such a big deal.

"If that's the case, then why didn't Jack grab a hold of her," Meadow asked joining the conversation.

"Because of witnesses around. Not to mention there is a high chance that she wouldn't have gone alone with him, had he come up with an excuse to get her alone. It's fine though. I've been meaning to have a little word with Ashlyn about this," Kai said.

"And what exactly is her role in all of this," Meadow asked.

"All you need to know is she is the one," Kai replied before walking away.

The next morning Ivy had gone to the restaurant to make sure things were running smoothly down there, while Ally stayed home. Oz was at school, and Ashlyn had just left to go help Ivy down at the restaurant a bit.

Ashlyn was about to walk out the door, when she heard the voice of her mother coming from behind her. "Sweetie, are you sure you want to go down to the restaurant with Ivy? You can stay home with me. I'm sure Ivy would understand. If you want you can come along with me for my therapy session. That could be fun."

"Mom I get that you don't want me out of your sight because of what happened. But I assure you that I will be fine. Besides, Ivy could use all the help she can get. She's extremely busy down at the restaurant. And I would hate to leave her to do all the work by herself. You just stay here and not worry about anything. I'll be home after my shift," Ashlyn said before walking out the door with Ally watching her leave.

"I hope it wasn't a mistake to send Ashlyn to the restaurant to help Ivy out. If only I had tried harder to convince Ashlyn to stay home with me. Maybe even come to therapy with me to talk about what happened to her, after the election. She seemed to have closed her self off. She refuses to tell me anything about what happened that night, Ally thought to herself.

Ashlyn was going around the restaurant taking orders and bringing meals to the tables, keeping busy to keep herself from thinking about what had happened that night at Kai's house. Ashlyn was so busy that she didn't realize whose table she had approached at the time. "What can I get you today?"

"Coffee. Cream and sugar and possibly a breakfast menu," the being spoke causing Ashlyn to look up at him with fear in her eyes.

"What the hell are you doing here Kai," Ashlyn asked.

"What does it look like I'm doing here? Ordering a coffee and waiting to look at a breakfast menu. Are you going to get me a breakfast menu, or do I have to report you to your boss," Kai said.
