- "Blank Makes You Crazy" (Mileven)

April 19th 2020 (This isn't really original. My sister was giving me ideas but I didn't like any of them so I said I could do a scene. She said "Oh the one where they're in the store!" She was talking about the blank makes you crazy scene so I just decided to do that. Okay I'll shut up now)

"Does that hurt?" Mike asked El, referring to the napkin on her wound. "Mmm, not bad." She replied quietly. "Your going to have an awesome scar. You'll look even more badass." Mike said, smiling at her. "Bitchin'." El corrected him. "Yeah bitchin'." Mike said, smiling at her. El looked down smiling.

"El," Mike started. She looked up at him, "Yeah?"

"I've been meaning to tell you something. It's just being broken up... It's been hard." Mike said, but finished when Lucas' super comm started making static noises. They both looked over at it then looked back at each other. "And I like that you and Max are friends now. It's just.. I was jealous, at first. And... And angry and that's why I said all that stupid stuff. And it's like I wanted you all to myself. And now I realize how unfair that is..." He said making hand gestures. "And selfish and like I'm sorry." He said, as El looked at him with adoration. "It's just like.. I've never felt like this with anyone before and... And you know they do say it makes you crazy." He said with a sigh.

"What makes you crazy?" El asked looking at him with confusion.

Mike looked both ways just to make sure no one was there, his face full of shock and confusion. "You never - You never heard that term. You know, like that phrase, like "Blank makes you crazy" like the word.. " He said trailing off quietly, while El sat there in confusion.

"Girlfriends?" El asked.

"No, no, no, no, not - not girlfriends." Mike rushed out. "Boyfriends." El said thinking that was what he was talking about, nodding her head. "No! No, no. Not boyfriends either. It's like - like a feeling or..." Mike trailed.

El repeated his words softly, "A feeling..."

"Yeah, like something - like old people say it to each other sometimes." He tried to explain but did it horribly. "Old people?" El questioned, confused as to what Mike was trying to say. "Yeah- what I want to say is that I just.. I know that I -" Mike tried to say. He didn't finish in fact he never did get to say you know, the word. It took him by surprise the day El and the Byers were moving, that she said, "I love you too"

(Okay I didn't know how to end that, I didn't want to just end it after they got interrupted, but anyway that's like the only time I'm going to curse in this book. Alright)
