Thanks for reading this book even if it's just the first one shot, it means a lot. Anyway I just wanted to say this book gets better as my writing progresses and this is a bad chapter to start the book and I'm sorry. But anyway thanks for reading my one shots! It's been a year since she left. He doesn't know where she went. Neither does her father. And it scared them. Everybody spent days looking for her then, they eventually gave up. But Mike. Mike didn't want to. He didn't want to believe it. It was until one day they were all at Mike's house. He looked over at the tent he made for her when they first met. Mike. He heard her voice call to him. Mike! "Mike!" It wasn't her. Mike looked over at Will, the one who was saying his name. "I asked if you wanted to play D and D?" He said. "Are you okay Mike?" Lucas asked. "Yeah, you look a little weird, like somethings wrong" Dustin finished. "Doesn't he always look weird?" Max asked in a duh tone. "Max!" Lucas yelled at her.

"Upside down." He said. "What?" Will said. " Upside down. We didn't look inside the Upside down for El." Mike finished. "Mike, c'mon man. Not this again." Lucas said. "I want to find her." Mike said looking up from his lap. This made everyone look at each other. "I'm calling Hop." Mike said running upstairs.

Yes, he finally got Hopper's permission to go look for El, but only if he went with Hopper. Of course the rest of the party wanted to go if it ment finding El, and Hopper did somehow let them go. Probably because he was just too focused on finding El, and didn't realize what he agreed to.

Hopper drove them in his car with Mike sitting in the trunk because he still wasn't okay with Mike. Once they got there the kids wasted no time in getting out, shoving each other out of the way and falling out of the car.

"Alright now listen to me now. You stay behind me at all times. Do not run off in here. You could get killed." Hopper said flashing his flashlight in their faces. There were replies with "Yes sir," and "Alright." As they got into the upside down they looked around looking out for the demogorgon and Eleven. "We should check my house first, what if she's in the tent I made for her?" Mike said. "I second that." Lucas replied. "Fine then we're going to the cabin." Hopper said.

They slowly creeped into Mike's house but Mike had a nervous feeling in his gut that something was wrong. He walking closely behind Hopper's back. Finally they walked to the basement and there she was.

Her mouth had a sickening creature in it just like Will, her arms were wrapped around herself to keep herself warm, although she was stuck in that position. Max looked away, shoving her face into Lucas' shoulder not wanting to see the scene unfold. Will was having flashbacks cowering away in the corner with Dustin following him. Hopper pulled it out of her mouth but nothing happened. Mike was frozen in his spot, seeing his girlfriend pale on the ground and not breathing. All of them you could say had tears in their eyes. "Alright Mike I need you to listen to me. Put her hands above her head, punch her nose and lift her chin up. And when I count to three you blow into her mouth stop after three seconds and repeat that." Hopper said, this whole situation reminding him of Will, with Joyce.

He was doing chest compressions and Mike was doing his part. "Come on kid!" Hopper said pushing harder and faster. Mike was now sobbing trying to save her. And that was when she gasped, spitting out that nasty water from the upside down. She looked over and saw Mike and Hop with relieved faces, but tear stained cheeks. She laid back down her face in somewhat contorted pain. Everybody rushed over squeezing her and the group hug with tears. There was a lot of tears.

They realized they could have a happy ending, get El home and safe and live their lives together til the end.

That's what they thought.
