- "She's Not A Machine!" (Mileven)

Sorry I haven't updated in a while I had writers block.
This is based off of the "I love her and  I can't lose her again" scene, but it's not that scene. So if it's confusing I'm sorry also because I wrote this in like 10 minutes. 6/12/20

Everyone used El, to save their lives and protect others lives. Well, Mike didn't. He was so sick and tired of people using El as if she was a machine. To protect from the flayed, The Mind Flayer and everything else.

El's not a machine, yes she does have powers but she's still a living human being with feelings. So when the party, plus Nancy and Jonathan were planning on ways to kill the Mind Flayer all that kept coming up was El's name. And Mike wasn't happy about that. Yes El was standing right beside him. So he tried to keep his calm.

"Well, we always have El." Nancy said. El didn't really care that she put herself first. She thought she was making Mike proud, by sticking herself out there and helping everybody and trying to save them. Yeah he was proud, but he didn't like that idea.

"Yeah, she'll just use her powers to kill all the flayed." Jonathan backed Nancy up. El grabbed Mike's arm, latching herself onto him. "Look, I know you all like the idea of El doing the work that you want to be done so the flayed could die, but she's not a machine!" Mike exclaimed.
"We know." Max said, looking at Mike with eyes saying, 'Shut it. You're ruining our plan.'

"Then why do you treat her like one!?" Mike yelled. El started to get tears in her eyes from the yelling, but also because they were arguing over her. "Mike, the flayed are out there doing God knows what!" Nancy said. "Killing, flaying, destroying!"

"And El knows her abilities better than any of us!" The way she said that made Mike want to slap her across the face. Yeah, she was his sister, but she was acting like his girlfriend wasn't a human being. They acted as if El wasn't there.

"Exactly!" Max said.

"Look, I'm just trying to demonstrate how careless all of you are with Eleven's powers! You're treating her like she's some kind of machine when she's not a machine! She's a living, breathing human being! Just because she has powers doesn't make her a robot or a machine! That's like if you had powers, and I used you to kill everything because you have something none of us else have! This disgusts me! I'm leaving, come on El." Mike rambled practically yelling. El looked back at them with tears rolling down her cheeks while she walked away with Mike back to his house. They all looked shocked and embarrassed. 

Once they got to Mike's house, Mike pulled her into his embrace. "I'm sorry." El cried. "Sorry? What are you sorry for?" Mike asked.

"I have powers. I felt proud that I was helping everybody. I thought you were proud of me too." El said, putting her head in Mike's chest, making his shirt soaked with tears. "Hey, don't talk like that, okay? I am proud of you. I am so very proud, like words can't explain how proud of you I am, okay? I love you so much El and I don't want to lose you again. That's why I stand against you doing all this because it's dangerous. Alright?" Mike said putting his head on top of hers.
