"Mom do I have to go."
"Yes honey, we've talked about this before."
"Ugh. But mom."
"No buts. Now go get your suitcase so I can drive you to summer camp."
"Fine."
I don't really want to go to camp but I guess if it makes my mom happy then I'll go.
In my suitcase I put my scrapbook in so I can take pictures I love my scrapbook my whole life is in there it has so many memories.
If anybody saw my scrapbook I would die it's like my diary.
"Kate I'm going to wait in the car."
"Ok, mom I'm almost done."
I put on my dolphin necklace and got my suitcase.
I'm really going to miss watching tv in the summer.
But oh well now I have to go to summer camp.
I got in the car and started to see the car window.
It started raining.
"Mom, since it's raining I don't think I need to go to camp anymore so."
"You're going, you know that right."
"Fine."
The whole car ride was silent.
Then we arrived at the summer camp.
"Ok, Kate. Remember when I told you this is summer camp?"
"Yeah."
"Well this is camp but you will be staying here for 3 years I know it is a lot but think of it as months."
I was speechless I didn't know what to think.
"Honey I know that this is hard but 3 years isn't that bad I will send you gifts and you can send me postcards, pictures, and letters."
"Bye Mom."
"Bye honey, make some friends."
How can my mom send me to this camp for 3 years I think its like prison.
I won't be happy in this camp.
Really.
