Hayes?

Kate's POV

"Hayes?" I said.
"Yeah I'm back for you Kate you mean everything to me and I don't want to lose you never." Hayes said.
Hayes was about to cry.
Oh no now I'm getting emotional.

Flashback

"Hayes I'm going to camp for 3 years and we won't see each other." I said crying.
"I know but will you miss me?" Hayes asked.
"Of course Hayes your my best friend." I said.
And with that we hugged really tight I didn't want to go to camp but I'll sure miss my best friend in crime.
"Hayes we can take some pictures before I leave." I said.
"Oh yeah." He said.
We went to his house and took some pictures of us being silly and the last picture was of both of us staring into each other's eyes.
"Kate come on we're leaving!!!" My mom yelled.
"Bye Grier." I said.
"Bye Kate I'll miss you." Hayes said.
"Me too." I said.

Hayes's POV

"I don't want to lose you never." I said.
I was about to cry because its been 2 years and I haven't seen my best friend. Well I love her. She makes me happy. She makes me laugh. She means everything to me.
I started to cry.
"Hey don't cry I don't like seeing my Grier cry." Kate said and she went up to hug me.
I was going to tell Kate that I love her.
"It's just that I...I..I- " and then I was cut off by someone.

Nico's POV

I went to get mine and Kate's coffee's but then I saw Kate hugging a guy.
Anger was rushing through me.
"What's going on here?" I asked Kate and the other guy.
"Um nothing Nico, but Nico I want you to meet my best friend Hayes." Kate said.

Hayes's POV

"And Hayes this is my boyfriend Nico." Kate said.
Those words broke my heart.
Boyfriend?
"Boyfriend?" I choked out.
"Yeah what's wrong Hayes?"
"Nothing it's just that it's been 2 years and that I'm happy for you both.
"Thank you." Kate said.
"I'll text you later." I said.
I was leaving Starbucks I couldn't handle Kate having a boyfriend.
Now I have already lost Kate to a guy her boyfriend.
It started to rain.
"Wait Hayes." That familiar voice I've always loved Kate.
"Please stay here with us." Kate said.
"Oh okay." I said.
I sat down and bought myself a coffee and sat with Kate and Nico.
We all talked for a while then I realized that Nico isn't that bad at all.
"Nico you better take good care of Kate." I said.
"I will." He said.

Kate's POV

I'm so glad that Nico and Hayes got along with each other and if they didn't there would be fight going on.
I can't believe what Hayes said earlier that he was here because he was back for me.
"Well me and Nico have to go sorry Hayes." I said.
"It's okay and we'll talk later okay Kate?" Hayes said.
"Yeah but when?" I said.
"How about tomorrow please." Hayes said.
His blue eyes looking at my brown ones.
"Yeah sure." I said.
"See ya later." Hayes said.
"Alligator."I said.
And Hayes just laughed.
