Oh, what a stressful it has been for Y/n. They slept in, resulting in them not having enough time to eat breakfast or pack a lunch for the day. As they were running to school, they stepped in a puddle of water, soaking their socks and shoes, leaving them to wear their indoor shoes without socks as they waited for them to dry. At lunch, their friends were all completely busy or just not around, so they were forced to sit by themself for the entire time. To top it all off, they still haven't been able to find their glasses anywhere. Now it was the end of the day and all they wanted to do was go home and sleep their problems away. They're seen trudging slowly through the halls, ignoring the chatter of various students and teachers.

As they're walking through the halls they see their friends. They seem to be looking for something. Or someone in this case, but Y/n doesn't know that. Y/n decides to not even bother asking them what they're looking for, they probably won't even notice them walking by, they convinces themself.

On the other hand, the pink-haired boy is so desperately trying to leave the building as soon as possible without being noticed. He currently invisible to the normal human eye, he swiftly evades Hairo's running figure. As Saiki bends down to change his shoes, he is brought back to reality.

"Finally heading home, Saiki? I'll walk with you, pal!" Toritsuka exclaims, putting his hand on the psychic's shoulder, unknowingly causing the downfall of his plan.

"You idiot!" Saiki reprimands the purple-haired medium. And to rub salt in the wound, all the people Saiki was desperately trying to avoid, show up to bombard him.

"You're not busy are you?!" They ask in unison. What is this? A horror movie?

Jeez, my shirt has chalk all over it now. Y/n says as they attempt to dust their shirt off. One of the teachers had asked Y/n to help another student with cleaning duty. Seeing as there were no other students in the halls and they could not tell any teacher no, especially if they were good to them, they begrudgingly agreed. After almost 20 minutes of sweeping and dusting the chalk erasers, the two students finally finished. Why couldn't he do the work himself? Y/n so desperately wanted to ask the teacher, but they didn't, fearing the consequences of talking back.

As Y/n was changing their shoes, they felt multiple stares on their form. They looked in between the faces of their friends to see Saiki pointing a finger at them.

"I have to walk them home." He says to the teens in front of him. "Their parents asked me to." He says, slipping his shoes on and walking away from the group. I hope Y/n plays along. Y/n hears this, wondering how their friends hadn't.

"Huh? Oh yeah, I was looking for you. Let's go." Y/n says, deciding they didn't want to stay in that dreadful building any longer. They slip their shoes on and waves goodbye to their friends. Saiki walks up beside them. "When did you speak to my parents?" They ask him. Saiki hesitates before responding.

"Last week." He says. Y/n lets out a yawn followed by a tired chuckle.

"You're lying." They say, their feet dragging on the pavement. Saiki doesn't reply, not that they're surprised anyway. "They wouldn't ask that of you. They don't even know I exist." Y/n says.
