『 Chapter 38 | Crunch 』

Sabo had successfully signed up for the Colosseum event to get what belongs to his late sister—he just couldn't let anyone else to have it. It's far too important to him for it to be just getting into the wrong hands. Doflamingo and that Diamante had dirtied it enough by touching it, and that's just unforgivable.

Sabo's anger is definitely enough to finish Diamante off. They're just making fun of the fruit—using it as baits to get people trapped in his game.

A hand was placed onto his shoulder, "I thought you'd come."

"I'm here for the search—otherwise, Koala will get mad." Sabo chuckled.

As they were catching up with each other, an old man took their attention.

"He's in the wrong place." Hack nodded.

"Probably just looking for some fun." Sabo smiled.

A few minutes had passed and the event started. Hack is in Block B, so when it was his time to fight on the arena, Sabo started to prepare for his own search as well. "Leave the Toki Toki no Mi in my hands. You do the search in the Colosseum." The fishman told the Chief of Staff.

 "Good luck." Sabo told him.

The Chief of Staff proceeded to sneak around the Colosseum, in search of the basement and, if he could, Sayua's fruit too. He searched through every nook and cranny he came across, but to be in vain. When he thought he finally found a way as he saw little toys, who used to be humans like him, being abused, it was barred off and it just broke his heart.

'Bear with it a little longer! I'll expose the darkness behind this country no matter the cost!'

He searched harder and found a holding cell for the gladiators that fight to death for show in the Colosseum. They were the ones who revolted against Doflamingo, thus, sent to the cell to eventually die off. He exited the room knowing that fact, so he had more reason to reveal the dirt of the seemingly fun country of Dressrosa.

He then received a call that made him look out to the arena. 'Hack lost, huh?'

An old man riding a bull caught his attention, but he immediately turned around when the man was crushed by the giant, stopping when he realised the old man is actually—

'That's...!' A smile appeared on his face, "I see... as suspected, you really came here, Luffy...!" His heart then sank when he remembered their sister's death, "It must've been horrible seeing it yourself..."
