I know, It's kinda creepy that I've been following Piper around all day but, she was just so perfect. Piper was super smart but in a more casual way than Annabeth. It also didn't help that she was super pretty, and every time I tried to talk to her I would see her  kaleidescope eyes and I would stutter and mix up my words. Why did I keep doing this? I sure as heck didn't like it. I walked to choir with Piper and kept trying to have a conversaition with her, but they just became awkward, not on pipers part, but on mine. We walked into choir to see that Mr. Apollo wasn't there yet so I went to go talk to Connor, another friend of mine taking the class for credit.

" hey dude" Connor said casually

"hey" I responded half-heartedly still looking at Piper

"earth to sparky" he said using that stupid nickname "stapler boy"

" don't call me stapler boy" I said " your a copy of Travis that ran out of ink"

"HELLOOOO CLASSSSS" Mr. Apollo sang as he entered the class wearing a gold suit. "Now every one get into your sections! Sopranoes, Altos, Tenors, Baritone" He sang again switching octive when singing the voice parts. "do it quickly or I'll give you my new Haiku!" Everyone scrambled to there places. I went to the tenor section with Connor, while Piper went to the sopranoes, and Piper's friend Gwen went to the altos.

"Ok so this year our winter musical isssss..... drumroll please........ HEATHERS! auditions will be held next Thursday and the cast list will be announced Friday!" every one burst into talking, there being 10 kids in the class. 

"are you gonna audition?" Connor said to me

" I don't think so I'm no good at acting. What about you?"

" I might audition for a minor role just for the extra credit"

"Oh did I forget to mention?! Everyone in this class will have to audition!" I'm sure I looked mortifyed, but so did the rest of the class. "here are your audition songs, and the sign up sheets!'' I saw the song I supposed to audition with, it was 'Meant to be yours' which is a creepy song to begin with. " you may all talk amongst yourselves!" I went ovet to Piper and Gwen with Connor just in time to here piper complaining.

"why does my audition song have to be 'dead girl walking' that song make me uncomftorble"Piper complained.

" at least your song isn't 'shine a light'" Gwen said " I'm auditioning for that Teacher.

" Hey we have to sing Meant to be yours" Connor said

Then I heard an unexpected voice " I'm auditioning for Heather Chandler, with 'candy store'" I turned and relized it was Drew.

" Shocker" Gwen said

" what do you mean shocker" Drew said supprised

" I mean the meanest girl in school auditioning for the meanest girl in the musical. What a supprise" Gwen said like she was explaining something to a toddler. Drew's face soured and she walked away.

" you know she's trying" Piper said the bell rang and everyone went to Lunch only stopping to sign up on the audition board. The following names were already on it.

Lena

Who would Lena be auditioning for? I knew that Annabeth and Rachel were auditioning for the sake of Piper. Percy probably is auditioning for the extra credit, But I could not for the life imagine a single reason the ultra shy Lena would audition? I've heard her say all of six words.
