Chapter 3

I stood by a long sofa and waited till Josh came back with the drinks.
I see Ava and Jaden talking and laughing their heads off in the corner. "They are so cute, to be honest!" I say. "So are you." Kio says coming up from behind me. "Kio!" I yelled. People started to look at me crazy. "Back to the party, people!" He said with an exciting face. "When you walked in the house, why didn't you say hi?" He said. "I don't know." I said quietly with my head down. "Aww. Do I make you nervous?" He said while lifting my chin. I smack his hand out of the way. "Don't touch me." I say.

"Ok princess, damn." Kio said. I was hoping for Ava and Jaden to walk over here so I don't have to talk to Kio but they just kept laughing and talking in the corner.

A song comes on. "OHHH THIS IS MY SONG!" Kio yelled. "Come on
Y/n! Let's go dance!" He says. He grabs my hand and I pull away. "No. I don't want to." I said. "If you want to 'loosen up' then you have to dance." He said. "Wait, did you listen to Josh's and I conversation?"
"Can't hear you! More dancing, less talking!" He said while grabbing my wrist and pulling me to the dance floor.

The dancing wasn't that bad. He showed me how to do the dance that went with the song. It was fun. "Now you do it by yourself!" He said. I did the dance and it was easy for me now. As I was doing it, I could feel Kio looking at me up and down slowly.

"Take a picture. It'll last longer." I said to him. "Shut up." He said and laughed.

"Where are the others?" I said. "I don't know. Let's go check." Kio says. We walk down the hallway. "Ok. You go look for Josh and I'm going to look for Ava and Jaden." I said to Kio. "Why can't you look for Josh? He's YOUR date." He says. "Just go look for him, Kio." "Fine." He said rolling his eyes.

A few minutes later I found Ava and Jaden kissing in the hallway by the bathroom. My mouth dropped. "Omg! Are y'all for real?!" I said. Ava and Jaden started shushing me. "Okay Okay! I'll leave y'all to it. I'm going to go check for Josh and Kio. Ava and Jaden both nodded and continued. I left them while smiling and happy for them.

Kio's POV
I look for Josh not caring. I check the bathroom and the rooms until I came across this one room. I heard a girl and a boy laughing but then it went completely silent. I hoped the door wasn't locked so I opened it. I saw Josh and the random girl kissing. I went over to Josh and pushed him. "How the hell could you do that to Y/n, bro!" I yelled. "To be honest, I didn't really like her. I was just tryna get in her pants, you know?" He said. The random girl got up and left the room because she knew what she was getting into. I punched Josh and kept punching him until Y/n saw.

Y/n POV
I walked upstairs and I hear this commotion going on and I see a girl walk out of the room. I looked confused at first but as soon as I got to the room, I saw Kio on top of Josh punching him. When Kio sees me, he stops. "What the hell is going on here!" I yelled at both of them. "So are you going to tell her?!" Kio yelled at Josh.

Josh rolled his eyes and said "I never liked you. I was just using you." He says. "For what?" I said with a sad tone. "To get your pants, Y/n." Kio said still looking at Josh with a death stare.

I walked up to Josh and slapped him and stood there with a mad face. He held his cheek in his hand and turned to me. He held up his hand and was about to hit me back. Kio punched him before he could do it. "Get you dirty ass out of my house and don't ever touch or talk to Y/n ever again!" Kio yelled. Kio started to shut everything down. "Party is over! Go home!" He said. He was furious and heated. Josh made him really angry.

I decided to get him some ice-cold water. "Thanks." He said. "No, thank you. What you did for me was amazing. I really appreciate it." I said hugging him. "I can't stand the sight of someone using you or hurting you, Y/n." He said hugging me back. We stare into each other's eyes for a minute and then Ava and Jaden see us. "Woaah! Were we interrupting something??" Jaden says laughing. "I think we were."

"No! You weren't!" Kio and I both said at the same time. Jaden and Ava started laughing.

"Hey? Do you guys want to spend a night here?" Kio says. "YESS!! OF COURSE!" Ava says while drunk. "Come on I will drive." Jaden also says while drunk. "No, I will drive because two of you are drunk and one is tipsy and tired." Kio says while looking at me. "Ok. Let's go get our clothes. I'm so glad it's the weekend." I said. "Yeah. Kio responded.

After getting our clothes from our houses, we all got back to Kio's house and we decided to watch five different movies. Ava and Jaden were knocked out cold by the second movie. Kio and I were laughing and continued the rest of the movies.
