Y/n's POV

I walked down the stairs, mission outfit on and mask in hand. I tucked it under my arm and rubbed my hands together, feeling the clamminess of them. My skin was hot and I was extremely nervous, yet excited.

Time to get my Delta back.

I made my way downstairs, seeing almost everyone down and waiting, ready for the mission.

"Y/n!" I turned to see Josh calling me over. I walked over and greeted the other sidemen with a smile.

"So what's up pops?" I giggle, looking at Josh.

"Before we leave, we just wanted to thank you for your hospitality but after the mission we're going to be heading back to our own place, we've extended our visit enough." I smiled and nodded, completely understanding.

"Alright, it was very nice getting to know you all, and thank you for all of your help. And if you ever need anything, anything at all, you know where I am." They nodded and smiled at me, stepping up to give me quick hugs.

When Simon hugged me, he whispered to me. "And if you need anything, you know how to reach us."

Before I could respond, I heard the familiar voice of a certain misfit behind me. "Woah, what's with the pity party?"

I turned to Swagger and rolled my eyes, still smiling. "They were just telling me that they were leaving after we get Cleo."

"Well, don't mean to add on, but we're gonna have to second that."

I smiled sadly at him, knowing what he meant. "I get it, you guys have your own business."

Just then, Tyler walked over, grabbing my attention. "Don't tell me you guys are leaving too."

He takes the joke but keeps his serious composure. "You know we aren't going anywhere for a while. Mini sent me to get you, come on."

I nodded and followed him to our mission room. Mini stood hunched over the table, panic stricken and nervous looking.

"Mini?"

"Y/n! This isn't good, this is not good."

I furrowed my eyebrows and looked at him as he paced, shaking his head and letting his thoughts flow from his mouth in a mumble.

"Mini, slow down. What's wrong?"

He took a breath and walked over to me, looking me in the eyes. "My insider ratted us out."

My eyes widened. "What? Why? How?"

"I-I don't know! I just received word that they're expecting our ambush."

I looked at him closely, noticing the redness around his eyes and the nearly unnoticeable dry streaks on his cheeks. "Mini, were you crying?"

His eyes widen a little and he shakes his head, rubbing his face with both hands. "N-no! No! It's nothing, it's nothing."

I decide not to question it and move on, trying to figure out what to do about our situation.

"Have anything in mind?" He asks, looking at me with a curious expression.

"We can't attack them. That never ends well. We have to approach them peacefully."

"Peacefully? Do you realize what gangs you're asking to be peaceful here?"

"I know, I know. But it's our only option. I'm not putting my delta at risk."

Mini gave a long sigh and nodded. "Ok, I'll talk to the guys but I can't promise they'll agree."
