Y/n's POV

It's been a week since that day at coffee shop. Delirious comes to the hotel room every day and either takes Teddy out or stays in and spends it with me while Teddy watches TV or sleeps.

Today, Delirious came and all three of us spent the afternoon watching cartoons and eating food from room service. He had just left to go back home and Teddy and I were getting ready for bed.

"Theo, baby, are you done?"

"Yes Momma, just drying my hands!" I turned to the bathroom door and saw the small child walk out, waving his still slightly damp hands around.

"Ok bubba, time for bed." I smiled, sitting on my own bed. He nodded and climbed up next to me.

"I thought you wanted to sleep in the other bed by yourself like a big boy?" I stated, furrowing my eyebrows at him.

"I just want to sleep with you for tonight." I nodded and smiled.

"Ok buddy, come on." I said, pulling the covers back so he could get under. He smiled and scurried over, immediately cuddling into my side. I giggled and turned the lamp off before wrapping my arms around the small child and hugging him close to me.

Our sleep was cut short by a loud bang coming from the floor below. I shot up and out of bed, already on high alert. The sound of heavy footsteps grew louder.

I checked the time and saw that it was 4 in the morning. I laid back in bed, thinking it was just a drunk coming in from a long night. Teddy was still sound asleep, laying on my arm.

I closed my eyes and tried to fall back asleep but something kept me awake.

I pulled Teddy closer to me and opened my eyes but I remained still. I saw the door to the balcony slowly sliding open and my body tensed. The door opened enough for someone to slide through and I reached under the pillow, between the headboard and the mattress, gripping a knife I had placed there.

A person dressed in all black slowly tiptoed around the room. I closed my eyes enough so that if that looked at me, they thought I'd be asleep, but I was wide awake now.

"Have you located the target?" I heard through a static-y voice.

The person reached up to their ear, touching an earpiece. "Yes. Alpha located. Guess the rumors were true."

I couldn't see their face but I heard the smirk in their voice as they spoke through the earpiece.

"Don't linger, kill her." The voice on the other end of the earpiece said. There was a short pause before it continued. "And the boy."

I took in a sharp breath, holding my son closer. I slid my arm out from under Teddy's head and prepared myself to attack and defend. The person walked over to us, still keeping quiet.

They were now hovering just above us as they reached into a holster on their waste. I moved swiftly and grabbed the person by the back of their head, driving the knife through their throat.

Their eyes widened as they choked on their own blood and I slowly dropped them to the ground, trying not to make too much noise. I quickly got up and pat the person down as they bled and suffocated to death.

I removed all weapons off of the body and searched them for any sign as to who they are. I lifted their mask and saw a woman with blonde hair fading into purple.

I furrowed my eyebrows, not knowing who she was at all.

I noticed black ink on her neck and turned her slightly to see an 'R' tattooed on her neck with a mask next to it.
