But there's something about his playful smile and amused eyes, so when the silver haired stranger told her about knowing Jungkook's whereabouts, she of course had doubts at first but he seems to know the latter really well and his tone sounded friendly.
He ushered her deeper into the woods, away to the city lights and more into the shadows where she couldn't see anything and had no choice but to follow the silver haired guy with a silver cross necklace hanging on his neck.
Then he stopped, just in the middle of the forest. "We're here." He says.
Lisa look around her but there is nothing here but trees, until the stranger chuckled and grabbed her attention by putting an arm on her shoulders.
"You're looking at the wrong way, Céline. It's here." Then he pointed at the ground, where she found a big manhole covered with dry leaves and twigs. Lisa gulped as she look at the silver haired guy beside her.
"W-we're going down there?" She asked, nervous. However the lad only grin wider as he pulled Lisa more close to him then he whispered on her ear. "Are you scared?"
She gave him no emotion even if her heart is beating so loud it's making her ears deaf. Yes, Lisa is scared but she won't show any weakness to the man she just met.
"Don't you trust me, Céline?" If Jungkook is hard to read, this silver haired guy is on another level. She can't pinpoint wether he's amused or just playing games with her.
Lisa, released a shaky breath. "Can I... trust you?" Her eyes locked with him and slowly his grin turned into a smile.
"Only one way to find out."
He break away from her shortly as he leaned down to pull out the cover of the manhole, Lisa stared at the linings and the design of it, but it doesn't seem like its the town's property at all.
She was unconsciously drawn to the image of a dragon that was carved on the cover that she failed to understand the lad's words. "Did you say something?"
"I said, jump." He repeated, gesturing her to go down into that dark hole.
"W-what? No."
Who in their right mind would do so? She's not even sure what's in there. In all she knows, manholes are made for sewers.
"Scared again?" He clicked his tongue, tilting his head a little bit. "Fine, I'll go ahead first then you follow."
"B-but..."
"Don't worry, Céline. I'll catch you." He playfully winked at her before jumping into the hole. Lisa crouched down and tried to look for him inside the hole but it was too dark, she can't help but to feel worried.
