"Have you heard about the governor's daughter?"
"Oh yeah! I heard she's been dating some outsider. That's so low."
"Weren't she supposed to be a role model? She's the student body president right?"
"Pity. She used to be someone I look up before."
"Her best friend is way worse."
"I know, she changed a lot. I wonder what happened?"
A coal black haired girl past through them, her presence alone made the gossiping girls shut their mouth as they studied her soft features and her passive piercing eyes. Her long straight hair made her even more intimidating as well as her dark makeup.
Her face void with emotions as she take a glance on them that made them shuddered in fright. What happened to the innocent daughter of the town's minister?
She halted a few steps away from them, she didn't turn around to look at them but Lalisa ran a hand through her hair as she rolled her eyes annoyedly.
"Been gossiping about us again?"
Just her deep firm voice made their spine chills and so their lips had been mummed immediately.A small girl approached them, her brows raising as she shifted her gaze to the female students behind Lalisa and back to the latter.
"Are they bothering you, Lisa?"
She asked, worry lines marred on her forehead. The raven head looked at her, eyes were bored and sleepy.
"Were you friends with them Hayi?"
She casually asked. The small girl quickly shake her head.
"I'm not friends to those who talked bad things about my friends."
Hayi glared to the students behind them. Lisa and her became friends a month ago when the sheriff which is her father help them to what happened on the abandoned house in the woods.
