I was eating some Mallowmelt when Tam walked in, Wylie hot on his heels. I couldn't help but blush. Tam shot me a look that seemed to say "I'm onto you". Brothers. Wylie seemed to look really nervous which probably meant something was wrong.
"What happened? You guys look like someone just died in front of you." I said.
"No. Wylie just needed to ask you something. Before this gets really awkward though, I'm going to go." Tam explained.
"Not sure what that's supposed to mean, but okay, I guess?" I responded. Tam left the room after that and Wylie just sat down across from me and start fidgeting. I smiled.
"So... you had to ask me something?" I said remembering Tam had said that Wylie had a question for me. Now I was not as oblivious as Sophie so I had known that Wylie might have had a thing for me.
"So, um, I was, um, wondering if you, err, um, wanted to go to, er, dinner?" He asked with a nervous smile.
"YES!" I said, my face turning red. Finally! Some time that took.
"Umm, I was thinking we could go to that place in Atlantis. They have Mallowmelt for dessert. I know it's your favourite." He added with another nervous smile.
"Yeah. It sounds fantastic. Plus, who could ever say no to a place that serves Mallowmelt?" We both started laughing. Tam waltzed back into the room.
"Wylie, just letting you know, you hurt my sister and it WON'T be good." He threatened.
"I know, I know. You told me 3 times already." I was shocked. Then I realised that Wylie would've had to ask Tam for permission to date me, since Tam is the most overprotective twin everrrrr.
"Jeez Tam, don't you think once was enough? You've practically lived with the guy for almost a year." I teased.
"Ha ha, you're hilarious." He rolled his eyes.
"Don't you roll your eyes at me." I shot him a glare, before Wylie and I burst out laughing. Tam cracked what looked like a half smile, and rolled his eyes again.
"I have to go to check on my dad now guys." Wylie said.
"Bye." Tam and I said back, before Wylie pulled out his pathfinder to leap away. Tam looked at me with a very mischievous smirk. I rolled my eyes before he could ask anything.
"I'm going to go hail Sophie or Biana or something and tell them about Wylie." I told him. running upstairs before he could respond. I took out my imparter once I was in my room.
"Show me Sophie Foster."
