Chapter 20-Dex

Sorry for this, but this is important so NO SKIPPING! This is Dex's P.O.V from when they were all together at the hideout. It's going to explain what happened to them and how they got kidnapped, up until Tam shows up. It might take 2 chapters so sorry. Anyways, here's the chapter. -Allybear

We were all asleep in the room, when I heard a noise. I got up to find Biana getting up. I wanted to be cautious, so I got up. She turned around and realised it was me. We walked out of the room quietly. 

"What are you doing up?" I whispered.

"I couldn't sleep, so I thought I would take a walk." She whispered back. We walked in a comfortable silence, around the area. I heard a noise behind us. I looked behind to see 3 clocked figures. Biana grabbed my hand and turned us invisible. One of the Neverseen members shot her with a meddler, and her invisibility stopped working. She lay limp on the floor so I decided to try and fight. I think the hit me too, though, because the last thing I remember was seeing Biana's body on the ground. 

"I'm sorry I failed you." I whispered, just before everything went dark.

I gained consciousness again, after what felt like an hour. Probably more. We were soemwhere familiar. I couldn't place it. Biana was conscious as well. As soon as she saw me she wrapped me in a hug. We were locked in a cell. I looked across the hall to find Alden in the cell. When Bi followed my gaze she ran up to the bars and the 2 of them started crying. I walked up to Bi, and put my arm around her.

"It's okay. We're going to be okay. Shhhhh." I reassured her. All of a sudden, a door slammed shut. We watched as Gisela walked into the room, smiling. I gave her disgusted look, and it looked like Biana and Alden were too.

"You must be wondering why this place looks familiar to you. Let me explain. As you know, I used to live with Keefe and Cassius in Candleshade. Well, the house had an abandoned basement that Cassius never even knew was there. Well, I found this basement about 2 years after I gave birth to Keefe. I used the basement to keep supplies, and cells. The ones you're in now." She finished. 

"Why tell us this?" Biana interrogated.

"Well, considering you can't escape at all, I might as well kill the curiosity, before it kills you." Gisela explained.

"Why didn't you kill us?" I asked, nervous for the answer.

"Ahhhh, I forgot how intelligent you are, Dex. That piece of particular information, is for me to know, and you to find out. Any who, I must be going. I have something to attend to. Food will be here shortly. Make sure to get some sleep. Tomorrow is a long day. Bye." She walked out of the room, shutting the door behind her. 

"I hate having to rely on Sophie, but I know she'll save us." Biana exclaimed. 

"Ya. I agree. Sophie is always there for us no matter how much we all annoy her." I added. The 3 of us sat there talking about all the fun things that Sophie brought into our lives. Eventually all of us got tired and went to sleep. We had eaten our dinner too. Once I knew Bi was asleep, I finally got some rest.
