The pain seared all over his body as he lost grip of his gun , it clanked against the floor. His body falling into the ground soon after.

He could barely breathe as he laid on his his back , looking up at the dark brown brick on the ceiling. His vision was blurry as he still stared at the ceiling. Not a second later , blonde hair and tan skin made it's way into his view.

His beautiful Alejandra was right there.

She grabbed her radio before shouting.

"Officer down ! I repeat Officer down! 5021 Charlie ! Warehouse on Smith ! Get us an ambulance now !"

He blinked slowly at her as her eyes held fear. Her hands ripped open his vest and she looked down at him , slight tears raising in her eyes.

"Antonio , stay with me." It wasn't a order , she was pleading , she was begging for him to stay alive. She needed him to stay alive, she had to. He looked at her as he spoke.

"I'm sorry." He whispered and he meant it. Her mouth started to move but he couldn't understand what she was saying. All he could hear was his own breathing as he felt himself getting choked up but he had to speak, speak the words he always needed to say. "I should've never should of that any of that to you. You never deserved it. I-"

He couldn't speak anymore and almost felt his eyes close before a soft hand held the back of his head. His eyes matched Alejandra's once more. Those light brown eyes already did something to make his heart jump and he knew why.

It was love.

It always has been.

"I was so mad at you when I should've been mad at myself for letting the girl of my dreams go." He said as he stared at her. God , she was so beautiful but he was so selfishly angry that he let her go. He should've been the man she always wanted and needed.

"You didn't let me go." She told him as tears started to fall from her eyes. "I should've told you all that stuff but I was scared but I'm not scared anymore."

The rising and falling of his chest started to slow down , his heart slowing down as well. His eyes never left hers with slight tears growing in his. He was fine with her being the last thing he saw on this Earth.

"You were the best thing that ever happened to me." He admitted to her.

"Don't talk like that." Alejandra begged as she grabbed her radio with bloody hands. "Where's the damn ambulance ?" She shouted. Weakly grabbing her hand with the last bit of strength , Antonio moved it from the radio before holding it with his own hand softly.

"I love you okay ? I always have no matter I ever said to you."

Alejandra started sobbing as Antonio let his own tear fell out of the corner of his eye.

"Tony , baby, just please stay with me , the ambo's on it's way."

Antonio looked up at her with adoration in his eyes. She sobbed even harder as she wrapped her arms around him, trying to hold his head up as he stayed in the arms of his beloved. He was going out this way and he was glad to leave with no regrets.

He felt his eyes close and he was finally at peace.

Once his eyes opened again , he was staring at the ceiling. The brown brick slowly turned into a white ceiling. His body felt so drowsy and he felt dizzy, vision slightly hazy.

The noise of the beeping heart monitor entered his ears.

He slowly turned his head , feeling pain emerging from his neck. The heart monitor making noise as loud as it could possible. He grunted before laying back in his original position. He weakly sat up and pressed the nurses button that was on his right side before sitting back.
