At the gym, Hanamichi Sakuragi is now a second year and already talked to Kaede Rukawa.
"Hey Kaede Rukawa." Hanamichi Sakuragi said. "I've heard that you already starting dating Haruko."
"It wasn't me who made a decision." Kaede Rukawa said. "It was Haruko herself had made this."
"Really?" Hanamichi Sakuragi said.
"Yup." Kaede Rukawa said. "What about you?"
"I already have a date." Hanamichi Sakuragi said.
"With who?" Kaede Rukawa asked.
"Kawai Mari." Hanamichi Sakuragi said.
Kaede Rukawa deadpanned.
"Are you kidding me?" Kaede Rukawa said. "She's a 3rd year."
"Maybe. But she is also a senior for high school girls' swimming team." Hanamichi Sakuragi said. "Not just a reporter for basketball news."
"Oh." Kaede Rukawa said. "I didn't know."
"I will meet sometime later after practice." Hanamichi Sakuragi said as he continued to shoot 200 out of 700 midrange jumpshots in a single day. "For now I'm working on improving my jumpshots just for a while."
Hanamichi Sakuragi continued shooting the number of midrange jumpshots.
Evening, Hanamichi is about to headed home until he stumbled on Kawai Mari.
"Hi Kawai." Hanamichi Sakuragi said.
"Hello Hanamichi." Kawai Mari said. "Can I asked you a favor?"
"What is it?" Hanamichi Sakuragi said.
"I need an apartment to stay." Kawai Mari said.
"You can stay at my apartment since I live alone as an orphan." Hanamichi Sakuragi said.
"Really?" Kawai Mari said.
"It's a long complicated story." Hanamichi Sakuragi said.
Later, Hanamichi and Kawai have arrived in Hanamichi's apartment.
"Wow. It's bigger than I expected." Kawai Mari said.
"This is a normal sized apartment." Hanamichi Sakuragi said.
Hanamichi and Kawai were entering the apartment. Kawai take off her school shoes and placed in the shoe cabinet then she take off her sock and placed it on the laundry clothes then she placed her clothes and belongings inside the closets and she already dressed.
"Are you done dressed?" Hanamichi Sakuragi said.
"I'm done." Kawai Mari said.
Nightfall, Hanamichi and Kawai were both sleeping in the bed. Then, Hanamichi woke up and takes a glimpse on Kawai's soles of her feet.
"I have a bad dream about this." Hanamichi Sakuragi said.
The next morning, Hanamichi and Kawai were headed to their respective classroom.
"I'll see you at lunch but don't be sleepy during the class." Kawai Mari said.
"I will." Hanamichi Sakuragi as they kissed each other slightly then went on their different respective classroom.
"Ryota. Kawai and Hanamichi were having relationships." Yasuharu Yasuda said.
"Lucky monkey." Ryota Miyagi said. "He's going to the 'once in a blue moon' business again."
