The Pool Party

When we reached my house we dropped our stuff in my room grabbed our towels and phones and headed across the street to Hayes and Nash's house. As we walked through the door there were people everywhere. Mahogany and I had to link arms to fight our way to the back door to the pool. We got stopped alot with small talk to all our friends but we eventually made it to the pool. Mahogany got straight in but I was kinda chilly so I sat on the beach chair for a little while and talked to my friend Angie until she left. After she left I spotted Hayes climbing out of the pool. LORD Hayes was so built and handsome. He flipped his wet hair and looked up. He started walking my way so I looked down at my phone hoping that he would walk past me but he stopped right in front of me.

"Hey why aren't you in the pool?" Hayes asked with a questioning look.

"Umm.... I actually don't know.." I said standing up.

"Well in that case come join me in the pool, and by the way i'm digging the belly button piercing", he said taking my hand and walking me too the edge of the pool.

I took a deep breath. "1...2...3...", I said as we plunged into the pool. When we floated back to the top me and Hayes were dying laughing.

"Well that was fun", I said after the laughter faded away.

"Yea, I had no idea you had hops", Hayes said laughing again. His smile was so beautiful and his smile definitely complimented his eyes.

" You have the most amazing eyes ever..!! Omg sorry, that was so random", I said wiping water off of my face.

"It's okay", He said moving closer to me.

"Hayes, babe.", Hannah called from the slider door.

Hannah Quinset. The only girl I hate in 9th grade. Not because she dated Hayes but because she stole my trophy from the cheer leading competition in ab13. I'm not one to fight over everything but my team worked hard for that and we deserved it. And plus everyone knows Hayes is only dating Hannah to make her happy.

Hayes turned and made an "got to go" face to me and got out of the pool. I was swimming over to Mahogany when Sam splashed me in the face with water.

"SAM!! Game on loser", I said splashing water back at him.

We splashed water around until some kid came over and asked to join us in our game of splash. He looked familiar. Wait I got it he's in my advanced algebra class. He was pretty cute. I think his name was Nathan.

"Sure of course", I said splashing water on him. He splashed me back and then Sam came and poured a whole armful of water on me. We stayed in the pool for about 2 more hours and then me and Mahogany said our goodbyes and decided to head back to my house. I didn't say goodbye to Hayes though because I thought I saw him flirty with some girl by the stairs so I just kept walking.

When got inside the house we took our showers and ate.

"Hey Mahogany can you straighten my hair", I said grabbing my flat iron's from my bathroom.

"Sure", she said closing her computer.

"I'll go get some snacks", I said going downstairs. I grabbed some cheese-its and Lays chips, and headed back upstairs.

"So I seen you and Jacob were having fun earlier. Are you going to ask him out?", I said making myself comfy in the chair.

"You know I don't ask people out and no because everyone said he's going to ask me out but im not sure."

"Well i'm all in for JOX!! You guys would be so cute together."

"So would you and Hayes"

"If only he liked me like that"

"What are you talking about? Everyone see's how Hayes looks at you. He has to like you."

"Well he sure doens't act like it because I saw him flirting with some girl when we left the party."

"Oh i'm sure Hayes wasn't flirting with her"

"Sure hope he wasn't"

Mahogany finished my hair and we went to bed.
