School

Mahogany's mom came and picked her up in the morning because she had a photo shoot. If only I was as cool as my best friend. Maybe then Hayes would hang out with me. I went back up to my room after she left and relaxed for the rest of the day with a LUSH dedication bath.

I woke up the next morning earlier than usual. I grabbed my phone and went on twitter of course. I tweeted good morning. Then I got a text from Hayes asking if I wanted to walk to school with him and of course I said yes.

I decided to get out of bed get ready so my mom doesn't have to get up and get me up herself. I hopped into the shower and brushed my teeth. It was dress down day at my school so I wasn't going to wear anthing nice. I walked over to my closet and grabbed a long sleeve black shirt, grey sweatpants, a grey and black infinity scarf and black uggs. I put my normal makeup on with just a bit of color to my lips, and through my hair up in a bun with a black headband. I grabbed my backpack and phone and headed down stairs.

My mom must have knew I was up and went back to her room. I knocked on her door and opened it a little bit.

"I'm walking to school with a friend today mom"

"Okay hun are Xavier and Liza going with you?"

"No I don't think so"

"Okay see ya later then"

"Okay bye love ya mom"

As I walked into the kitchen I heard a knock on the door. I quickly grabbed a poptart and ran to the frontdoor. I open the door and there was Hayes in basketball shorts, a sweatshirt, and Aleuts.

"Hey you ready", he said looking at me.

"Yea" I said stepping out of the door checking the time on my phone. That's become a weird habit of mine.

"So why did ask me to walk with you today?", I said turning off my phone and starting to walk down the street.

"No reason, why...?" he said with a questioning look.

"So who was that girl you were with at your party?...," I said it before I could stop myself. I coulnd't believe I said that. It's not like I had any right to ask that question. WE AREN'T EVEN DATING!!

"Oh that was Nash's friend Emily. She wants to ask out Nash so she was asking me about him." he said with a plain expression. I could feel my body tempature raising.

"Oh, I'm sorry I had no right to ask you that. I'm so stupid!!," I said smacking my head with my hand.

"Your not stupid maybe a little bit jealous, but if anything you being jealous is kinda cute actually. " he said with a grin smired arcoss his face.

"Oh god, trust me i'm totally not the jealous type I was just wondering. But you making that observation makes me think..." I said walking into the school building away from Hayes. If he wanted me I was totally going to play hard to get.

I reached my locker and stood there staring at it, i'm not quite sure why. But I was snapped back to earth about 3 minutes later when Sam came to my locker.

"Goodmorning Tori, we are offically going to be late in about 1 minute!", he said closing my locker.

"Sorry. Bye see you in third period", I said waving and walking to my class. I walked to my seat and plopped down in it.

"Goodmorning class. You are aware that I will be partnering you guys up for your science fair project I assigned you do on friday. And don't bother to pick your friends because I have already assigned you to a group of four because it's a big class."

She grabbed her paper and started naming partners.

"Kevin, Caitlyn, Lillian, and Mikey. Marylynn, Rose, Austin, and Jeremy. Tori, Hannah, Hayes, and Taylor..." I suddenly became alert when I heard who I was partnered with. My ex, my crush, and the school slut. Why is Karma after me? What did I do this time?

Hannah came to our table and sat down across from me. I had to admit Hannah is a really pretty girl but didn't have the personality to fit her face.

I started talking to try and make things less akaward. "So since we only have a little time to start our project today in class we should probably see when we can get together outside of school." I said taking out my phone so I can put them in my reminders.

"We can meet at my house tomorrow and Wedsnday." Taylor said taking out his own phone.

"Yea and we can meet at my place on Thursday." I said typing it into my phone.

Hayes and Hannnah agreed to meet at our houses at 5:00. School ended within a blink of an eye.
