Aizawa walks up to the dorms feeling nervous, though nobody besides Hizashi is likely able to tell. He had gone to Recovery Girl's office in search of Katsuki, but was told that she let him return to the dorms only moments before he arrived to check.

He pauses as he places his hand on the doorknob of the dorms, his grip on the papers tightening. Mic waves a hand in front his face, getting Aizawa's attention. "Come on. Don't worry, I promise he'll be as excite as you. Probably more, actually!" Hizashi says happily.

Aizawa forces a nod and opens the door, the two heroes walking inside. Mic stays by the door to spectate as Aizawa walks further, seeing his students crowding the couch and surrounding Katsuki. A small smile graces Aizawa's face, hidden by his capture weapon.

The hero walks up to the couch and the students turn from their conversations to look at him. "Hello Mr. Aizawa. Is there anything you need?" Iida asks from the kitchen area.

The man shakes his head in the negative. "I don't need anything... well, an answer I suppose." The students seem confused and, in particular, Katsuki especially. "An answer from Baku—Katsuki"

The students' eyes widen as they turn to look at their explosive classmate, none of them having heard their teacher refer to him with his first name. Even Todoroki's eyes widen fractionally. Katsuki looks inquisitively at his teacher, though not angrily. He stands, flinching slightly from his most recent injuries, including the darkness and cracks overtaking most of his body, hidden by his clothes, and stuffs his hands into his pockets. "What is it, then, teach? If you think I didn't catch the name shit you just did, you're wrong," he snaps.

Aizawa sighs exasperatedly. He recalls with a lackluster expression, "I went to the principal's office earlier to find myself in the company of your mother once again." Katsuki glares at his teacher at the mention of his mother. "We, the staff and principal, have decided that your mother is not a suitable guardian for you and... pressured her into a certain decision for your wellbeing," Aizawa says simply.

Katsuki gapes. "Wh-what—wait, what?" he sputters.

Aizawa smiles a bit more largely, ignoring the question, and the students see the small smile's presence. Aizawa lifts his hand holding the forms. "These papers, here, are the official documents which your mother has just signed to relinquish her guardianship of you to this school, and specifically to myself as your home room teacher." The teacher's face morphs into the first non-frightening, wide smile the students have ever seen from the man. "Welcome home, Katsuki. You don't have to go to that woman ever again. The question is, do you agree with this decision?" Aizawa finishes a bit more nervously.

Katsuki is at a loss for words. Suddenly his eyes fill with tears and he chokes out, "Why?"

Aizawa looks around anxiously. "Well, I don't need to be the guardian if you don't want me to... We have plenty of other staff who—"

"No."

The teacher looks into his student's teary eyes. The boy's lower lip wobbles as he forces out his next words.

"I w-would l-love to have you as m-my guardian... d-do you... do you even w-want to d-deal with me? To be m-my d-dad?" Katsuki looks toward the ground, avoiding eye contact as his hands clench into fists next to him.

Aizawa moves forward until his is only a stride in front of his student... his new son. "Don't even consider it something I have to 'deal with.' I would love to be your dad."

Katsuki gasps as he feels an odd sensation take over his body and suddenly some of his pain stops. He scowls for a moment in confusion. He could swear some of the darkness just receded. But... why?
