9. THE Clue and THEIR Romance

"Aunty...I'll make a move..." Nandini said when she saw Manik calling her. She hid the mobile and bid bye to both of them and came out.

"Manik...I need to tell you something...urgent..."She said in a panicking tone.

"Nandu...Even I have to tell you something....Come to Barista....I'm sending you location..." He said and hung the call.

She caught an auto and texted Manik "ON THE WAY..WILL REACH IN 10 MINS"

She reached and found Manik waiting for her already.

"Manik...It's Aryaman.." She said directly coming to the point.

"What...??? How can you be so sure..??" He asked.

She took his mobile and opened the photos and zoomed a picture where Mukthi's body was lying on bed.

"See Manik...That locket 'A'...First I thought that it's Abhi's...That's why I didn't tell you in the morning.." She said

"No...Abhi don't like these kind of funky stuff.." Manik said looking at the locket keenly.

"Exactly..and it's Aryaman's.." She stated.

"How do you know...??"

"Manik..I just now met him at Mukthi's house...he has the same 'A' tattoo on his right hand...I'm very sure it's the same one...But what can be the motive..." Nandini said and started thinking.

"Let's leave.." He said suddenly and started his car.

"Manik...What happened all of a sudden..?? " She asked.

"He was there" He said trying to dial Dhruv's number.

"Who..??" She asked in shock.

"Aryaman" he said cutting the call as it was going busy.

"How do you know..??" She asked again making him irritated.

"Godd!! Nandu why are you so dumb..??? Abhi told me about this guy and I have checked for his picture...like morning...Enough...?? Any more questions..??" He said irritatingly while she gave an angry look and turned to other side.

"Oh teri...He might have heard us na then..." She uttered in shock.

"Don't worry Nandu...He came when you were telling about the locket...He heard us...and I purposely did this...No he will go to collect the locket...Wait..." he said and called Dhruv again.

"Manik...Yeah tell me.." Dhruv answered.

"Dhruv....Out of the things you collected at crime scene, did you get any 'A' locket..??" Manik asked.

"Umm....One sec..." he said and checked the file.

"Manik...I don't think they found any locket...It's not mentioned here..." Dhruv said.

"It means it's still there only...Can we go and check..??" Manik asked.

"We need a search warrant Manik..But what's with this locket..??"

"It's not Abhi's"

"You mean..??"

"Yes..it's of the culprit's....We need to get that..I'm coming to meet you Dhruv...Are you in the station..??" Manik asked.

"Yes Yes...I'm...come on..." he said and hung the call.

He dropped Nandini home and drove to station again.

Dhruv came out to meet him as he asked.

"Dhruv...I need a big favour from you..." Manik almost pleaded.

"Yeah tell me Manik"

"I think that locket belongs to Aryaman, who was Mukthi's fiancé...Nandini has seen tattoo on his hand as the same of locket...And he followed us when we were talking about this...So there is a chance that he might have heard...And if he has head that, he will definitely go to my farmhouse to collect that..."

"How can you be so sure..??" Dhruv asked.

"Dhruv...He knows that police didn't find the locket...if so, we would have opened that point in investigation right..?? So he will come if he is the culprit...I just want you to place a camera to capture when he comes..."

"Manik..!!"

"Please Dhruv...Only you can help us in this...only police can do it...without anyone's notice, place a camera..he will come tonight or tomorrow..." Manik said

"Why..??"

"Because if he didn't take it by tomorrow, we will officially have search warrant on Monday...and I'm sure he bloody knows that too..."

"Hmm...Ok Manik...I'll do it..." Dhruv said.

"Thank you..Thank you sooo much Dhruv....And yeah..can you please give these specs to Abhi,...I need to go...I have to talk to prosecutor and schedule for Monday..." Manik said handing over the specs.

"What are these for..??" Dhruv asked checking them.

"He will get head ache if he don't put specs for long time.." Manik said and left.

Dhruv smirked and called up someone while entering station and checking the specs, "Hello...yeah buddy...You were right...He asked me about the locket and asked me to insert a camera at his farmhouse...Hmm..yeah...That little girl too...Ok...I know you will take care....I will clear the area..."

At Manik's house,

He was sipping his drink at night and was waiting for Dhruv's message.

"DONE" His phone beeped with Dhruv's message and he smiled.

"Manik" Nandini called from behind.

"Will this work..??" She asked in a bit low tone.

He moved towards her and tucked her hair strands behind her ear and said "Trust me"

She looked at his eyes and said "I already do"

He smiled and slowly placed his lips on hers while she shivered at first but reciprocated. He scooped her in his arms and took his steps towards his bedroom.

He placed her on bed slowly while having eye contact all this while. He slowly hovered her and kissed on her lips and then travelled towards her neck and then below while she closed her eyes in pleasure.

He kissed her forehead and said "Stop me" and she nodded her head in denial with a slight smile and closed her eyes.

He captured her lips for one more soulful kiss before they became naked.

"Stop me Nandu.." It was almost like a pleading but she smiled and pulled him for kiss holding his hairs from back and soon they became one that night.
