10. THE FINAL BATTLE

Next morning,

Nandini opened her eyes to see Manik sleeping peacefully and smiled. She took his shirt and came out to the balcony when she felt him wrapping his hands around her waist and kissing her neck.

She turned towards to see his messy hair which made him even more hot than he already is.

"Nandu..Kal raat..." He started but she stopped him by pecking his lips.

"I Love you" She said and kissed him again to which he reciprocated and she could feel him smile.

"I love you too..." He said breaking the kiss.

"This could have happened long back if we were in touch..." She said thinking.

"Yes...Atleast if you were there at the time of Mukthi and Abhi's marriage.." He said and gave a sad smile while she felt bad thinking about all the things that happened to Mukthi.

"Hey....Don't think too much..." He tried diverting her.

"She waited for me only na..?? If I was here that day, I would have helped her in register marriage and would be with her when you both went out...It was all my mistake..." Nandini said with tears.

"Hey hey...nandu...listen...It's no one's fault Nandu...Look at me...We all couldn't help...Just imagine..Me and Abhi were there only..Just few meters distance but we couldn't save her...What Abhi might be going through..?? It's not entirely anyone's fault Nandu...If it's anyone's, we will find it by tomorrow...Only one day...One more day..." He said with confidence and she shook her head and hugged him.

They spent the day with watching movies and Nandini helping Kamala aunty in making Manik's favourite dishes.

"Few more hours Nandu...and Abhi will be free..." He told in excitement.

"Darr lag raha hai Manik.." She said making circles on his chest.

He pecked her forehead and said "I'm here...Sleep"

Next morning, Manik and Nandini reached court and were waiting for everyone. They saw Mukthi's parents along with Aryaman.

Manik signalled Nandini to go to them and she nodded her head. She went near Mukthi's mother and sat beside her holding her hand.

Just then, Aryaman saw police were bringing Abhi and so he went infront of them.

"Officer...Can I talk to him please...Just for a min..??" He asked in pleading tone which confused Abhi as he don't even know the guy.

Dhruv nodded and went to give the pen drive to Nandini.

"Nandu" he called and signalled her to come aside.

She glared at him and said "It's Nandini"

"Umm sorry...Nandini..Here is the pen drive..with all the footage..." He said giving the pen drive to her.

"Thanks Dhruv...Thank you so much.." She said with a smile.

"My pleasure....Good luck.." He said.

"Same to you..." She said and turned around with a smirk while he frowned.

He rushed out when he heard some shouts and saw Abhi holding Aryaman's neck to strangle and remaining police trying to control.

Mukthi's parents too rushed out and pulled Aryaman aside and asked "What happened beta..??"

"Aunty...I just introduced myself and asked how he did all these with my Mukthi.." he said in tears.

"Naam bhi math lena meri Mukthi ka teri Gandhi zubaan se...." Abhi shouted from the hold of police when he got a tight slap.
