Van's P.O.V.

After one or two hours of driving, we finally arrived at my hometown, Llandudno. Living in Cheshire was nice, but I missed the people here who had always supported me from the beginning. Mum and Dad's B&B's still there. I might just spend the night there as well.

I parked the car near the B&B. We both got off the car and it was already 6 pm. Time for dinner. Where should we go? I knew that Bondy was back in Newcastle and Benji wasn't here too...Argh...I immediately came up with the idea of spending time with Larry. So I phoned him and he picked up right away.

"Mate, fancy a night out together?" I asked, leaning against the wall in one of those rooms in my parents' B&B. "I've brought a friend over here."

"Yeah, just come to my house at seven," he said. "Or we can have a pub night together with your friend."

"Sure," I replied. "Sinnabit." I hang up the call and got changed in my room. Then I went through the corridor to her door and knocked, "We're going out tonight. Wear something fancy if ya wanna." With a rummaging sound of her going through the luggage, she finally called out, "Okay!"

I went downstairs to wait for her to get ready. It took 15 minutes more and she's done. Very prompt indeed.

She went downstairs and I was astounded. She was wearing a black skirt and a nice white top with a leather jacket on top of it.

"You look nice tonight," I commented, sipping my cup of tea.

"Thank you," she shyly answered. "I thought we're going to a pub so I'll just put on something nice."

I smiled at her sincerely, "We'll go to Larry's first and then to the pub." I opened the car door for her as she got in, I went after her and we're on the road again.

When we arrived at Larry's, he was already waiting for us outside. He got into the backseat and we drove to the pub together.

"Hey, mate," I said. "This is Sammy. Sammy, this is Larry, my best mate." They shook each other's hand and greeted.

"Mate, is this really your friend?" he inquired. "She looks stunning."

"Nah, we're just neighbours," I choked out a few laughs nervously. "We're just going off a road trip and kinda want to go over the places in the country." I tried to change the topic, it seemed to work out.

"A road trip? That's very nice, mate," he playfully hit me with his fist from behind. "Ouch," I winced in pain. "I'm driving. Can't you see that, mate?" We burst into laughter together. It didn't take long for us to reach the pub.

We went into the pub. There were a lot of people on the dance floor, some just sat in the booth and some just fell asleep on it. We squeezed through the crowd and found an empty booth. We ordered our drinks and settled down there.

We took a few shots and the alcohol in our veins rushed the blood to the head. The three of us went onto the dance floor and move along with the beats. When we took our last shot and dragged our tired asses back, it was already two in the morning.

Larry was very drunk so without offering to do so, Sammy and I supported his body weight throughout the way back to the B&B. We threw him onto the bed, pulled the duvet over and shut the door behind us. Both of us panted heavily. Her lips curved upwards, forming a tired and disarming smile, "It's a lovely night. Thank you for bringing me out."

I smiled back and said, "Good night, Sammy."

"Good night, Van."

We parted our ways at the corridor as we went into our rooms separately. I fell asleep at the instant I threw my body onto the bed though it wasn't long for Larry to wake me up with his banging on the door. I walked out of bed, unlocked the door and he came in. His mouth never shut up complaining about his hangover. So I went downstairs, made breakfast for the three of us and sat there enjoying it myself while listening to Larry rambling on his continuous headaches.
