It wasn't some ordinary day, and Kate doesn't really feel good as she and her members are up minimally rehearsing themselves. They were the chosen representative group of Lifeline Entertainment. Staying in their designated dressing room, Kate sets herself and joins the other girls to rehearse.

It was the open auditions of the survival reality show The Unit Creation done every two years by one of the biggest talent agency in the Philippines, FM Entertainment. Many trainees from different agencies, either of which are voluntary or assigned by the company, are encouraged to join and if one ranks among others, they have a possibility of joining the final team to be debuting at the end, being one of the nation's talent representatives. But this time, among 100 trainees from different agencies, only 10 will be able to do so.

Yuan, one of the duos joining the program from GGP Creatives, sets forth out of their dressing room trying to calm himself as he also sees the other trainees from other agencies. He isn't the only one being nervous. He is also one like and among many others that'll strive their way to the top, and that could or could may not bring a change to their lives.

"You okay?" he somewhat flinches, as an unfamiliar hand taps his shoulder. He looks at the man, which he confirms to be Chris from Kyuu Entertainment.

"Man! You really are joining, aren't you?" Yuan exclaims as he raised his hand for the latter to receive, which the other did so. They seem to know each other though.

"And that doesn't make any change to your personality either," Chris chuckles at his words, having himself follow the steps Yuan is taking.

"My personality isn't that bad! You're just mean," Yuan frowns and slightly shoves Chris away, which made the other snicker in amusement.

They enter one room, bigger than those of their dressing rooms. The room was hued with bright violet-white diamond patterns, quadrilateral shapes abstractly arranged along with the thick white shape frames and thin lines completing the details. Three of the walls being hued majority in purple to gradient white, while the remaining one was in pure white. A live screen is attached to it that also displays the same pattern the room is designed, although the patterns displayed are in motion. The room also had what seemed to be stalactites of a diamond shape in its ceiling.

"I can't believe I'm in what I always see on television," Yuan says as his mouth opened in awe at the sight. It was only the waiting room that they were already amazed, what more when the actual survival program starts. They can't just believe how far they have come since they started being trainees, but it was only the beginning of an end, only if they strive hard enough.

"Yuan! You've gotta see this!" Yuan averts his gaze to where Chris was standing and quickly follows the other. They went through a quick tunnel, which glow through the screens that cover it that shows the same pattern from the waiting room.

Their mouths dropped at the sight. "It really is real. Am I not dreaming?" Yuan admires as he holds the white garter that blocks the path from the short tunnel to the studio. Everything was shining like actual crystals, from the stage setting to the seats that rose from a series of chairs that ascended from 100 to 1, with 1 being at the top among those chairs, tinted in crystal-like glow that looks like a throne. Same goes to the 2nd and 3rd chair. The 4th down to the 100th being ordinary ones.

"It's real, and it will be happening not soon enough," Chris snaps and taps Yuan out of his thoughts, "Let's go back, Yuan. Your teammates might be looking for you already."
