It was a bright morning and sunlight began filtering into the room, casting a warm glow on the three who were still asleep in bed. Jungkook's eyes fluttered open as the rays of sunshine hit him, dragging him out of his deep slumber that escaped him for the past few days. Jungkook let out a soft groan as he tried to stretch between the two broad figures caging him in, piquing the interest of Su-Won who was still at his feet. The dog immediately leapt towards his human so that he could shower his human in affection, causing Jungkook to let out a stream of giggles.
While trying to get to Jungkook, Su-Won managed to jostle the two males who were still wrapped around Jungkook, waking them up. Seokjin grumbled about how Su-Won was just like Jungkook, always waking him up when all the elder wanted to do was sleep in and always pulling the cute puppy face to get out of trouble knowing that Seokjin couldn't resist their sad puppy eyes. Jungkook snorted unattractively at his older brother's dramatics while Namjoon just stared at the scene, glad to see that Jungkook was feeling good enough to actually fool around with his brother and snort that loudly.
After lounging in the bedroom, they finally decided it was time to get up and get ready for the day. After washing up, Seokjin, taking back his rightful role as mother of the group, decided to get to the kitchen to prepare a hearty breakfast with his baby brother in thought. Meanwhile, Namjoon stayed with Jungkook and helped him get ready, which he loved to do. That is, until Jungkook decided to be stubborn and refused to wear anything if it's not the loose oversized brown hoodie that Namjoon just took off.
"Jungkook, no. Just, no. You are not wearing that shirt. I wore it to sleep yesterday. You're not touching that until I wash it. It's unhygienic." Namjoon protested, trying to make the younger see sense.
"But, hyung... that'll wash away your scent. I only wanted to wear it because it smells like you. Makes me feel safe. Please?" Jungkook whined petulantly, though he meant what he said. If he was going to talk to Yoongi today, he needed a comfort item, or to be more precise, he wanted Namjoon's hoodie.
Namjoon being the genius with an IQ of 148 he is, was able to understand Jungkook's reasoning as soon as the boy talked about the shirt's scent without the younger having to explain. Jungkook has always been the type of person to find comfort in things that are familiar when he was in a stressful environment, especially scents since the younger's nose was very sensitive. Since he's known Namjoon for more or less a year with the older male always around, Jungkook has come to associate Namjoon's scent with safety and comfort, so it wasn't really a surprise that the younger was so adamant on wearing the hoodie.
Sighing fondly as he passed Jungkook the hoodie, Namjoon responded, "Okay, fine. I get it. It's a big day today so I'll let it go. However, this will be the first and the last time you're wearing my unwashed clothes. I am not letting you be unhygienic and wear my dirty clothes, understood? Today is the only exception."
"Thank you, Joonie-hyung!" Jungkook tugged on the hoodie, releasing small contented hums as the soft worn-out fabric covered his body, the size of it so huge it basically clung onto his shoulders, his collarbones visible and the shirt reaching past half of his thighs with the sleeves not just giving him sweater paws but covered his entire hands.
