You're Perfect For Me [M.YG x J.JK]

Pt. 1 : "Hey, you alright, kid?"

It was a Friday, Yoongi was making his way out of campus after his last class ended when it began to drizzle. He groaned, cursing at himself for not bringing his umbrella today of all days. All he wanted to do was to get back home and perhaps hibernate for the next two days but mother nature seemed to have different ideas. Deciding that he did not want to get himself soaked, he begrudgingly made his way to the nearest building for shelter, hoping that the rain would stop soon. Sadly, it only grew heavier.

Resigning to his fate, Yoongi was looking around out of boredom when he noticed a boy shivering violently on a wheelchair. Now, normally Yoongi would just stay where he is and pretend the boy didn't exist but he's not a heartless asshole and the way the boy was hugging himself tightly, making himself look so small — probably trying to stay warm — just pulled at Yoongi's heart strings, making the need to check on the boy to make sure he's okay arise within him.

Once he got close to the boy, he could see that the boy was soaking wet, his dark brown hair matted to his forehead, eyes pinched shut with tears rolling down his cheeks as his small body racked with sobs. At this point, Yoongi felt extremely helpless. He has absolutely no idea how to make the boy notice his presence, let alone comfort him.

After standing there awkwardly for what felt like hours, Yoongi decided to address how the younger male was shaking like a leaf in his wet clothes. He was glad that he decided to wear his jacket today as he shook it off and placed it gently on the boy's shoulder.

The boy stiffened and slowly looked up at Yoongi and FUCK. Yoongi is screwed. He's adorable. The boy stared at Yoongi in confusion and his cheeks became dusted in a light pink blush. Even with his messy wet hair, tear stained cheeks and with his shirt and shorts clinging to his frame, he looked gorgeous. Yoongi's heart skipped a beat as he shook himself out of his thoughts.

'Stop it, you idiot, you're scaring the kid.' Yoongi thought to himself.

Yoongi took a deep breath to get his composure and smiled at the boy, "Hey, you alright, kid?"

Jungkook was having a bad day. Wait, scratch that. Jungkook was having the WORST day of his life. Well, at first everything was okay, perfect even. He woke up early, showered with the help of his stepbrother and his stepbrother even cooked him his favourite breakfast — chocolate chip pancakes — before he went to work, everything was amazing.

Jungkook had only recently moved in with his stepbrother, Kim Seokjin who lived in Seoul from Busan due to certain circumstances so he thought it would be a good idea to have a stroll around the neighbourhood to get used to his surroundings. While wandering around, he was so absorbed with enjoying the beautiful scenery around him that he didn't realise he was straying away from his actual path.

When Jungkook came back to his senses, he had no idea where he was. The landscapes were unfamiliar, none of the buildings in sight were recognisable, the roads didn't seem to make sense and it finally dawned on him that he was as a matter of fact, lost.

Jungkook has never been outgoing, especially with his disability, he preferred being alone. It's not like he doesn't want to socialise, in fact seeing people hanging out with friends make him feel extremely jealous. However, he can't because whenever he does actually try, they either look at him pitifully or even worse, they make fun of him.

Spending his whole life with little to no social interaction with anyone other than his family and his only friends —Jimin and Taehyung — caused him to feel too anxious to seek for help from the strangers around him. He wanted to call his Seokjin-hyung for help but since all he planned was a small stroll, he didn't bring his phone with him. Jungkook turned his wheelchair frantically, trying to figure out where he was but to no avail.
