I sat on the roof of the boarhat, my legs swung mindlessly. Water twirled around my fingers, I stared down at my fingers. I still wore the revealing outfit but I decided that if I was going to kill the king I'd want him to see how he branded me. My skin sat in the sun absorbing the water off of me, eventually I'd have to go inside. I stood up and hardened the water into the shape of a small dagger, I shot it with lightening quick speed. It sliced through a branch and dig deep into a trunk, I released it and the water fell onto the dirt beneath in a puddle.
I stepped out the roof making a small platform of highly dense water cells, I landed it softs and the water dissipated quickly. I have spent the last few days focusing on controlling my power to my best ability, the flood gates of my magic were slightly open; just enough to let 2/4ths of my magic through. I was still uncomfortable with allowing it all out, the feeling and knowledge of every water system near me panicked me. With one wrong move I could kill a living being, plant or animal, human or creature... I didn't want anymore death on my shoulders then needed.
I walked to the edge of "mom", the smell of salt quickly assaulted my noise. I heard the crashing waves on the shore, a smile spread across my lips. I look at Diane who was walking beside us, my heart sang for the Ocean. My body glowed with excitement, I would soon have the king's heart for what he did to me. I quickly go inside, my mouth smiling ear to ear.
"Okay everyone!" I say cheerfully, I open a window for Diane to listen. They all look over at me in curiosity. "Here's the game plan! I will control the surface of the water to take us to the ruins, then you will all take a sip from the potion. It'll last a few hours so be careful and don't get cocky, I only want to kill the king." I say quickly, my hands resting on my hips.
"Can you even hold us all on a wave?" King asks me and I nod a little.
"I can and I will, I'll need you all to hold off the castle defenses and possibly the Queen... but I don't want them dead! Unless there is no other choice." I quickly add at the end my attention going to Diane.
"What will I be doing?" She asks looking through the window.
"Kicking Kos'vics-s! You'll have to drink the most of the potion, they only need drops you need the rest. But still if you're lunges start to strain please return to the ruins." I walk to the window and give her a sympathetic smile.
"Okay!" She nods.
"HEY! Wait! You called me an Ass, a few days ago!" Ban yells in realization, I laughed a little.
"Yes. Yes I did."
As soon as we arrived on the shore I made a giant platform of water, it was a little draining but I opened my magic channel to 3/4ths to hold it much longer than normal. The sun was low, the sky was a beautiful pink and orange. "OKAY, EVERYONE ON THE SURFACE!" I yell as Jumble landed on my shoulder, slowly everyone got on. My hair and marks slowly showed more and more, my (f/c) glowing eyes reflected off my nose.
The wind blew by as I moved the platform quickly against the tides and currants, I stood motionless above the platform. "One wrong move." I repeat over and over trying to focus on just stability and strength. The others talked around me but it was a mere buzz, I felt my body begging to have more power to continue this strain. I bit the inside of my check refusing to give in, bruises slowly formed on my arms. I couldn't give into the pain, my jaw clenched. The ocean was loud and huge, wind whipped my hair behind me. I let out a loud animalistic growl, it was quiet and only to myself. Bruising ran from my fingertips to my shoulders, I knew that this'll heal but it felt terrible.
The sun set and I was the only beacon of light for miles, the other's tried to speak to me but I gave no response. I stayed focused, the bruising now sat on my shoulder blades and chest. If I didn't stop soon I'd break my fingers, I saw the ruins in front of me. The moon shone on the giving them a haunting glow, I smile spread across my lips. I pushed the water faster, tears pricking my eyes as the strain worsens.
I stop the disc of condensed water, they all get off without my words. As soon as they do I let my body and mind relax, my body falls into the tides of the ocean with a dull splash. Darkness over takes my eyes, I pass out.
...Ban's POV...
I just spent the last 3 hours watching (Y/N), pushing herself beyond her limits I wasn't let her die that easily. I dove into the water and pushed her onto the stone of the ruins. I sighed as the others helped bring her above, we lay her down gently. He upper body was covered in bruises they even ran up her neck almost on her cheeks. Her bird Jumble started tweeting wildly and pulling on my hair frantically, "what!?" I yell, looking at the bird.
"I think he wants us to follow him." Diane answer, she said crouching down. I sigh and pick (Y/N) up carefully, I slowly follow the bird up a pair of stairs. The railing was crumbling and broken, vines and greenery sat on the stones.
I follow the bird inside an old home, a stone fire pit sat were a living room would typically be. He flew into a room that seemed to be a child's in the past, a small cot was messy and had a blanket on the ground. A small round window was open and so were the drawers. I lay her down on the cot and pick the blanket up placing it on her. I sighed a little, she looked like she'd been thrown out a 6 story building and got the best results for it.
