Kuroko POV
I've been living in the Aomine household for a month now. I wish I didn't have to tell him about the baby. He's been over the top ever since I told them. Constantly making sure I'm alright, eating enough, getting plenty of rest, and not letting me do anything. At first, the extra attention was nice but it's starting to wear me down.
However, Daiki worked during the day giving plenty of time to myself and mental break with Satsuki. I look over at the door as Satsuki comes in, "How was the gym?"
"It was great! I've got to take a shower and get ready for my hair appointment."
I nod and go back to drinking my milkshake as she heads off to her room. A half-hour later she comes up to me with her hair still dripping wet from the shower.
"Tetsu, can we have a little chat?"
Red flags immediately go up. Her stance is stiff, and her voice is shaky. Somethings wrong, but I nod my head as my heart starts beating like crazy, "What's wrong?"
"Tetsu, I love you, me and Daiki both. But we're newlyweds and recently Daiki has been showing you a lot more attention. We're going on our honeymoon in a week and a half. I want us to be able to relax and enjoy ourselves together instead of him constantly worried about you."
I start shaking a bit and rub my hands over my thighs trying to calm down. I figured something like this would happen at one point. He really has been over the top since I've told them. I understand her point but this conversation is raising my anxiety, "I understand what you mean. Why don't we all talk about it later? Speaking of which, don't you have a hair appointment in a few minutes?"
She checks her phone, "Oh shit you're right! Thank you Tetsu, I'll see you tonight!" She grabs her things and rushes out the door. I sigh heavily relaxing slightly before realizing I have an appointment as well. It's 3:00 pm and my appointment is at 3:35 pm. It'll take me 30 minutes to walk to the hospital, I'll just barely make it but it's better than staying here. I should probably just leave anyway, make fewer problems for them. I get up and head to my room quickly packing my things. Daiki was kind enough to buy me more clothes, but I can't bring myself to take them. I put all my items back into the suitcase Akashi brought me and head out the door. After locking the door, I place the spare key they gave me underneath the rug and head out.
After 15 minutes into the walk, my phone starts ringing. It's Midorima, "Hello?"
"Kuroko where are you? Your doctor told me you're not at your appointment and I can't get ahold of the others. What are you doing, walking?"
It was supposed to be sarcastic, but it was the truth, "Yeah. Daiki is at work and Satsuki had a hair appointment. The bus wasn't going to arrive on time, so I had to walk."
I hear a heavy sigh in my ear, "Alright, what's your location? I'll come pick you up."
After telling him where I was, 5 minutes later his car comes pulling up. He unlocks the doors as I put my suitcase in the back seat before getting in the passenger seat.
"What's the suitcase for?"
I look out the window after buckling my seatbelt. We were never close, even in middle school but something about him brings me a sense of comfort. Something I haven't had since everything hit the fan. It should be alright talking to him, right?
"I told Satsuki and Daiki about the baby. He's been a mother hen and extremely over the top since I've told him. Satsuki told me she doesn't want him to be worried when they go on their honeymoon...so I left."
