Chapter 29

Taehyung's POV

We were all settled in the apartment, I helped my mom unpack in the spare room, while Kookie spoke with the lawyer in the living room. "Tae, you should actually just live with Jungkook." she said. "Mom, I'm sure that's the last thing on his mind right now." I replied and she rolled her eyes. "Not now, but you both have an apartment in the same building, what a waste! You should just move in, it will save money too." se said and I gave her a look. 

"Maybe later." I then left her to unpack the rest of her things. "Tae, do you remeber what that guy looked like, the one who was taking pictures." Jungkook asked, as I entered the room. "Not exactly, I just saw that he had a tattoo on his neck, of a rose I think, but I might be mistaken." I informed and he came up to me with a picture, "This guy?" he asked. "Yeah how did you find that?" 

"His name is Cha Eun-ho, one of the men working for my dad." He explained. After that, the lawyer explained the trial procedure and informed us that Kookie's dad is being questioned. 

 While my mom cooked up some tteobokkie, I dragged Kookie to his room. "How are you feeling, it must not be great to send your own dad to jail." I said, taking a seat beside him on the bed. "I don't even know who he is anymore. When I was little, he was my role model, I wanted to be just like him. But now, he's just someone I used to know. I remember he would always call me 'pup' and take me with him to work." he said. He buried hs head in my neck, and that's when I felt it soak with tears, I rubbed his back. "I'm sorry Kookie." I said and pulled him closer, hugging him even tighter. 

"Don't apologize, he brought it upon himself." He said and I gave him a small smile. I sealed his lips with mine, he moved his lips gently against mine, pouring all sorts of emotions into that passionate kiss. His put his hand on my cheek, caressing it softly. I smiled into the kiss, until my mom barged through the door.

"The food's re-oh sorry dear!" she quickly apologized and closed the door behind her. I pulled away "ugh, how am I gonna face her now, she literally walked in on us shoving our tongues down each other throats." I said and buried my face in my hands. "Well there is only one way to find out." Said Kookie and grabbed my hand, leading my to the kitchen. 

"Sorry about that Ms Kim." Kookie apologized and she gave him a smile, "it's okay dear, I should've knocked." she said and we began eating the food. Finally, we were at peace, not having to worry about anything else.
