Taehyung's POV

I was enjoying a quiet evening, after that uncomfortable hangout we had earlier. I did a face mask and made myself some hot chocolate, I was utterly at peace. After fifteen minutes I peeled off my face mask, finished my cocoa and brushed my teeth, getting ready for bed.

I climbed into bed, sighing in content, as I wrapped myself in the soft sheets. I dozed off for a few minutes, before I felt vibrations, I huffed out annoyed, knowing exactly what that was. I thought he changed, but he is still the same asshole as before. I yawned, it was quite late in the evening and I had no energy left in me to go shout at him.

After contemplating whether I should go down to his apartment or just ignore it, I chose the latter and made myself comfortable again.

I woke up the next morning, feeling dead. I sluggishly put on some decent clothes and went over to my mom, thank goodness it was Sunday, I thought. I took a slow walk over to the house, enjoying the scenery. I shivered a bit, since winter was fast approaching. I arrived at the house shortly, noticing how the front door was standing wide open, panic rose up inside me and I rushed over to the door. My heart beat quickened once I heard a male voice. "Eomma, are you okay?" I asked, stepping into the house and I heard her call from the kitchen.

"What are you doing here?" I asked, seeing Jungkook sitting at the kitchen counter. "Oh you two know each other?" My mother asked, to which I nodded. "Well Jungkook here, was helping me carry some groceries, since he saw me struggling a bit."

"Eomma you know you can always call me, I could have taken you shopping with that car and it's getting colder now, so you better call me okay?" I told her and she gave me a boxy smile. "Where are you off to now Tae?" Eomma asked, seeing me dressed up. "Oh nowhere, I'm just stopping by the library to get some books." I replied, looking over at Jungkook, who was awfully quiet.

Aftr having a little chat, both Jungkook and I bid goodbye to my mom and I started my walk to the library, "Wait, can I come with you to the library?" Jungkook asked from behind me and I gave a slight nod, not mindng the company. "You said you have a car right?" He asked and I nodded.

"Then why do you walk everywhere and take the bus especially now that it's cold, isn't that a waste?" He asked, I hesitated, he looked over at my facial expression, which was now completely blank.

"I like to look at the scenery, it takes my mind off things. Also that car was a gift from my dad, he tried to apologise for cheating on my mother. He tried to buy me over by buying me a car. But if it helps my mother, who am I to refuse, I don't want to make her life even more difficult." I said, voice fading away at the end. "I'm sorry." He apologised.

I looked at him and smiled at his sad face, he was actually an adrorable little bunny, "Don't be, because  I got to see his true colours and I'm glad I can live knowing the truth, than to live a lie and think I could actually look up to him." I said, as we arrived at the library.

We quickly made our way inside, I was taking out various books, while Jungkook carried them, trailing behind me. After the walk back, which was more enjoyable, we finally made it to my apartment, Jungkook carring my bag of books. I opened the door and he put them down on the coffee table, he was about to leave when I called him back, "please stay for some hot chocolate, I owe you for carrying those heavy books." I said and he gave me the cutest bunny smile, I have ever seen.

Maybe he is not so bad after all.
