"hoseok would you like to go now?"
ms. choung's eyes darted to the boy sitting next to namjoon, who looked pretty spaced out before he heard his name being called. he hesitated for a bit, almost as if he was having a conflict with himself on whether or not he should speak.
"hoseok? are you with us? are they speaking again?" ms. choung asked and jungkook raised a brow, confused as to what she who she was referring to. the boy nodded, "but they're not loud." he stated.
"i killed my little brother.." hoseok blurted out of nowhere. he said it quickly, ending it with a short sigh as if his confession was physically stolen from him. "i'm guessing they've stopped?" she asked him.
"b-but i didn't want to! i promise i didn't. it was them. they told me to." he completely avoided her question as he continued to speak with a panicked expression, almost as if someone was watching him.
"who..?" a boy with messy blonde hair spoke up and asked with a concerned, yet amused expression. jungkook was taken aback since this was the first time someone had went out of their way to ask a question about another student's story, but confused at the boy's face. he couldn't tell if he was..enjoying hoseok's story or freaked out by it.
"them! the entities. they don't leave me alone!" he attempted to explain.
"okay freak show.." the blonde whispered with a chuckle as he sat back in his sit. "yoongi! enough." me. choung scolded.
"fuck you! they're real i know they are!" hoseok retaliated angrily before ms. choung signaled him to ease himself and calm down. yoongi scoffed, his tongue poking his cheek as he forced himself to stay silent.
"hoseok, please continue."
"they were telling me it was a mistake since the beginning. since my mom announced the pregnancy. they told me he wasn't meant to be here, that he was a danger to me and the rest of my family." he began once again.
five years ago
"aren't you excited to have a new baby brother hobi?" his mom said excitedly with his father by her side. twelve year old hoseok just stood there, staring blankly with his mouth slightly agape as the voices spoke to him.
'it's evil.'
"no.."
'the power it holds is dangerous, it'll reek havoc once it's brought into this world'
"no..please.."
'you're their only hope, you have to get rid of it hoseok.'
"no no no no no! get rid of it please!" hoseok yelled at his parents, tears violently streamed down his face as he pleaded with them. they were taken aback, shocked at their preteen son's behavior.
"jung hoseok! what has gotten into you? this kind of behavior is unacceptable!" his father raised his voice at him, causing him to throw even more of a fit.
"no listen to me! you have to get rid of it! i don't want it!" he tried his hardest to convince them somehow.
"other than the fact that i would never, it's already too late hobi. i'm three months along." his mother told him as she showed him the teeny tiny baby bump that was forming. hoseok's eyes widened, three months?? he now knew why his mother had been acting different and now knew the reason for all of her frequent doctors appointments.
