Broken

Age 18

Uttered or unexpressed
In the deep silence of this dark world
A soul is lamenting and striving hard to free himself
From the shackles of love

If you're going to love
Love with every essence inside you
Love so hard that when your words touch paper
You're dry heaving over tear soaked paper

Yet you're broken to pieces
Shattered from within
Lack of comfort
Lack of life

Apathy
No sympathy
No empathy
No shoulder to lean on

Nor pillow to rest on
With the world overflowing with vices
With all the broken pieces of my heart and shattered soul
I am still waiting for you

With all the scattered dreams and darkened hopes
I still want to wait
To conquer all my sorrows and bring the liveliness back into my life
I have decided to wait for you

Right now, I'm a broken glass
Scattered into pieces here and there
Sweep me, not through bare hands
Don't dare to keep it pieces

And try joining them again
I am a glass, bound to bleed you
What am I supposed to do?
When the best part of me was always you
You don't know this new me
I put back my pieces differently

P.s- I literally cried when writing this poem. It was a painful moment for me.
