Paisley sighed as she woke up the next day. Jasper wasn't going to be at school. Paisley hated that she was alone, but remembered Bella. She walked out of the room and knocked on Bella's door. "Hey." Paisley said as she walked in. Bella was sitting at her desk looking something up. "What are you doing?"

"I'm trying to figure the Cullens out." Bella tells her. Paisley nodded. "Jacob told me this story about the Cullens."

"Bella, I don't want to know. If Jasper has something to tell me, than he can tell me on his time." Paisley said. "We're going to be late." Bella nodded as she followed Paisley. Paisley knew that Bella wasn't going to drop it making her sigh. Paisley got in the truck and waited for Bella.

Paisley sat texting Jasper. She was happy that he asked her to out. "Paisley?" Paisley looked at Jessica. "Are you coming with us to Port Angeles?"

"Sure." Paisley said as she texted Jasper. Paisley smiled as she got a response about wanting to take her to prom. "Jessica, Angela, I need to find the perfect dress." Paisley tells them.

"Oh my god, Jasper asked you to prom." Paisley nodded at Jessica. "We have to find one that is perfect."

"We have to surprise him." Bella replied. Paisley looked at Bella shock.

"You? Dress shop?" Bella nodded. "Yeah, those words don't belong in a sentence." Bella rolled her eyes.

"I'm doing it for you." Bella tells her.

"It has to be perfect and stunning." Angela said.

Paisley blushed as she knew what she was going to go through later on. She laughed and talked as she had in her mind what kind of dress Jessica and Angela should wear.

After school, the four went to Port Angeles for shopping. Angela and Jessica were trying dresses on as Paisley looked around for the perfect one till she found it. Paisley tried the dress on and walked to Bella and their friends. "How do I look?" The three turned and gasped.

"Oh my god! That dress is perfect!" Angela said hugging her.

"I like the dresses you two have on." Paisley replied.

"Hey, I'm going to the bookstore." Paisley looked at Bella knowing she was up to something.

"Let me go pay..."

"No it's fine." Bella said. "I might be awhile."

Paisley slowly nodded and went back to looking at the dresses as she waited for her friends to finish. Paisley walked and paid for the dress as she heard the two say they were hungry. "Are we ready?"

"Of course." Jessica said.

Paisley smiled and laughed at the conversation that Jessica and Angela were having. Paisley told them so things about her family, but felt tears build up. "Oh Paisley." Angela replies as she hugged her.

"It's fine."

"Paisley, you have rights to cry, let it out." Paisley smiled at Jessica. "If we were in the same shoes, I would understand it."

"Thanks guys."

The three walked out laughing at the waitress who embarrassed herself. Paisley saw Edward and Bella. "They you are." Paisley said as she hug her friend.

"We got hungry so we already ate." Jessica said.

"We did wait." Angela tells her.

"We're just going to..." Bella nodded understanding. Edward looked torn.

"I want to make sure she eats." Paisley smiled. "Paisley, Jasper told me to keep you here." She nodded confused as to why Jasper was on his way.

"See you two later." Jessica said. "Paisley, I'll hold onto your dress."

"Thanks." Paisley said as she watched them leave and Edward and Bella going inside. She sat down on the bench thinking of reasons why Jasper was coming after her till she saw Emmett's Jeep. "Hey."

"Get in." Jasper tells her. Paisley wondered what was wrong as she climbed in.

"What's wrong?"

"I'll tell you, but not here."

Jasper drove them to a beautiful spot. A lake. "Jasper."

"I need to tell you something." Jasper tells her. Paisley slowly nodded. "Me and my family are vampires first of all." Paisley nodded. "We are different from others. We don't want to be monsters." He got out as Paisley followed suit. "When I discovered I had a mate, I was going to reject her because my heart only belonged to one." Paisley stood a couple inches away. "Than I saw you."

"What do you mean?"

"You look just like her." Jasper tells her.

"Like who."

"The woman I have ever loved till you came." He showed her the picture. "Her name was Melody Grace."

"She looks just like me." Jasper nodded sadly. "She was your mate."

"Your my true mate Paisley." Jasper confessed. "I have accepted when I saw you that it was time to say goodbye to Melody and move on." Paisley smiled with tears in her eyes. "Melody will always be in my heart, but you have it now."

"Jasper, Melody sounds wonderful and I'm sorry that you lost her."

"I'm happy now." Jasper tells her. "Happier than I have been since I turned." Paisley smiled. "I love you, Paisley Grace."

"I love you, Jasper Hale." She tells him as they kissed.
