We stayed at the Hilton Waikiki Beach hotel. The hotel is very nice. Beautifully decorated, comfortable, spacious. My room had a beautiful view of the sea. Ricky's room was next to mine.
-This hotel is excellent. -Dad said with a smile.
-Yeah, and enjoyable! -Mom said.
This will be great vacation, I thought.
Ricky and I are headed to the beach alone, since mom and dad decided to first look over Hawaii. It was wonderful to walk bare foot in the hot sand. When we placed beach chairs and umbrella, we headed into the water. The water was refreshing, not much cold, and not much hot.
Ricky and I sat together on the mattress and gently floated on water. Strong sunlight blinded my eyes, the ears could hear the voices of children who are playing. Their voices were happy.
-Isn't this great? -I asked happily.
-Yeah it really is, Hawaii was a great choice. -Ricky answered.
After a long swim, we met up with mom and dad on the beach.
-Why not get into the water? -I asked wonderingly.
I wonder how they can sit there and not to enter and enjoy.
-Later, and where are you going now? -mom asked.
-We are going to the hotel, we are hungry.
-Okay, see you later.
At the hotel we ate spaghetti with ketchup. They are tastier than ever before, I guess we got tired of swimming.
After the meal, we decided to take a walk.
Hawaii are beautiful, full of palm trees and other exotic plants. Even the air has a nice smell. At each step, you can find souvenir shops. Ricky bought me a small piece of wood, in which he writes: "I LOVE HAWAII", and I bought him a magnet, in which the image is Hawaii.
After the walk, we sat on the beach and talked.
-Nina, I want to spend the rest of my life with you.
I didn't know what to say to that, I just quietly whispered:
-Me too.
When we returned to the hotel, we saw my mom and dad:
-Where have you been so far, we are concerned!
-We were walking, if you don't mind.
-Okay, we have nothing against it.
When we got to my room, we started to plan what we will do tomorrow.
-We can buy diving kit and look for shells or similar. -I suggested.
-Yes it is a good idea. -Ricky agreed.
